This console is a very attractive dark cherry finish. It feels very sturdy & while I have my 50" plasma mounted on the wall above it, I have personally sat on it (I'm 200+ lbs) & could not imagine having any issues holding the weight of any flatscreen. The inside cabinet dimensions are some of the largest I have found and can actually hold my AV receiver in it (though I ended up putting it on top due to the amount of heat the AVR puts out). Overall...very pleased with the purchase but I give it 4 stars and not 5 because of 2 things: 1. This "console" is actually 3 independent pieces with no connecting hardware. You could likely fabricate something easily enough yourself or just align them like I did. Not a problem per se,,,but seems odd that they dont connect. 2. The interior shelves cannot be moved, removed, etc. They are part of how this maintains stability so they cannot be adjusted in any way. I would have liked to move 1 of them to give my AVR more airflow room so I could put it inside the console rather than on top. Your AVR may fit better and/or give off less heat than mine, though (I have an Onkyo...tend to run hotter than most).

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. We have ours staggered with the two side pieces almost flush with the wall and the center piece a few inches forward to allow for the tv cords. It looks great this way. The stand was easy to put together (I did it at 8 months pregnant) and has a beautiful dark wood finish. It holds all the many components of my husband's complicated system and still has room for dvds and decor. I'd recommend this stand to anyone who wants to consolidate and organize their tv area!

Did have to get 2 pieces that were damaged in shipping replaced but overstock support did a great job and very very pleasant to deal with, via chat, email, and phone (I had the fun of using all 3 at point or another). We have been searching for a nice piece of furniture for our tv. We didn't want a little stand or a big bulky entertainment center. This 3 piece set is just perfect for our needs. We did as someone else suggested and off-set the larger center piece with the tv on it then we put photos, a vase and other items on the side pieces. We got some pretty cloth baskets to put on some of the larger shelves. Everybody comments on how lovely it is. Some other pieces we had looked at were at least 3 times what we paid. Granted, they were cherry or more expensive wood items but we are happy with our purchase. O.com is great to deal with and we will not hesitate to order again and again!

Excellent quality. Exactly as described in description. It holds my 70" TV that is 100+ lbs. would recommend this stand to everyone. Shipped in a week. Took about 1.5 hrs to put together.

I love the rich color and the simple design. Exactly what I wanted. The 2 end sections work perfect as side tables too. My granddaughter likes all the cubbies to put her books and toys in. The reviews I read online here helped me pick out my purchases and they were very helpful and accurate. The stand was exactly as promised. We love it and the real wood goes with our new decor of the room. Just like previous reviews it was a little time consuming to put together but well worth the effort and savings. It is actually 3 pcs and using the info from a previous review we actually offset the middle piece. We put a 73' Mitsibishi DLP tv on the stand, the size of the stand and TV complement each other.

This entertainment center/TV console is exactly what we needed for our 1912 living room. We had to cover very long wall, and the piece looks great with our large TV and some art glass pieces on the side. We have plenty of storage for movies and games or other art pieces, and seasonally, we can separate the pieces when decorating the room. We are very happy with the furniture!

This product far exceeded my expectation. The quality is still not as good as it could be. However, for the price I paid, the overall price-to-value ratio is fairly high and I am very pleased with this product. The bad thing about the quality is that after assembling the product, it was not as sturdy as i would have liked it to be. But it looks amazing.

This product comes in two flat HEAVY boxes, ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED. This is important, but it is also why the price is so great compared to buying a console already assembled from one of those trendy, more expensive retailers. It is worth the effort, but you must be able to make sense of instructions and have patience to figure it out. Enlisting the help of a handy friend is a good idea. I worked on it for two evenings (probably 5-6 hours total time to assemble). It's still worth it! TIP: forget using the little Allen wrench that's provided in the box. Use a cordless screwdriver with a Phillips head and you'll have MUCH better luck. Also, the kit comes with wood glue but in my experience it wasn't enough. I just substituted regular white glue myself. You might want to have a small bottle of wood glue handy. The console looks great and is just what we wanted for our downtown condo's living area. Great piece of furniture for the price! Looked for a long time to find something like this. Arrived very quickly. I was able to put it together on by myself - the two smaller pieces one night and the center piece another. Once you get going, it's pretty easy since they are so similar. Highly recommend!

Assembly was not difficult at all. Didn't really understand the glue but hey... I used it and it hasn't fallen apart. Had some difficulty making the piece level so that threw us for a bit of a loop. But once we figured that out it was great! Really deep shelves so it can hold baskets plenty of space for everything!

I've ordered many pieces of furniture from Overstock now and I have to admit that, aesthetically, this is my favorite piece so far! Everytime I look at it it makes me happy. Quality is great (especially for the price), and the color is a nice rich espresso which matches my other wood nicely. The only negative would be the plastic 'buttons' that cover the cams which are a light tan/brown color which is pretty noticable; fortunately, the unit sits pretty low and the compartments have items in them so hopefully noone else will notice. I have this sitting on a pretty even hardwood floor and all three pieces are level so it looks like one solid stand. If, in the future, I want to separate any of the pieces all sides are finished which is great. Assembly was a bit laborious but if you have a better screwdriver than I do and are in better shape then you shouldn't have a problem.

I was drawn over and over to this beautiful TV Console. It came quickly which was a plus, and it seemed to be all is well. I have assembled many things before, but this was a nightmare. As I began to assemble it I discovered that even with a mallot and cloth the pieces were not compressing or locking together. I would highly recommend to not purchase furniture online, unless it is a whole piece to be white gloved into your own living room. You are taking a good size risk in purchasing something such as this online. However, Overstock was very understanding, their chat staff excellent and super courteous. They helped me thru the process of having it returned, and refunded. I was so impressed by this, that I will continue to shop at Overstock on a regular basis. This was a great buy and very easy to put together. I had my two son's ages 12 and 14 put the entire thing together. Only took them about an hour. The piece was too long for the wall which was perfect because I was able to use one of the small stands in a spare bedroom for a night stand. All of the openings were big enough for all of the kids gaming systems and and the Fios box. Couldn't as for more.
