This is a very nice piece and the color is very rich. I had purchased it to hold photo albums and hadn't unpacked my albums yet. So, the cabinet is used to display framed photos and candles.
My husband putted together the cabinet and he didn't complain it was hard at all. I bought this for him and he loves it. the craftsmanship is beautiful, with real wood in areas. Would def. recommend this to anyone!!
This is a lovely piece of furniture. I was a bit disappointed that two of the shelves are fixed in place and are CD sized. The DVD's on those shelves are laid on their sides. I was impressed that two extra shelves were included so it could be used to store CDs instead of DVD's. There was a small chip on one end of a board but it's on the bottom inside so it doesn't show. Also the back board halves are different, but since it's up against the wall that didn't create a problem.
