This piece looks great. I purchased it to house some of my books and smaller figurines. The doors slide beautifully. My husband put it together in about an hour, so it wasn't too complicated. I'm really enjoying this piece. Thanks Overstock! You did it again!!

I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR A SMALL CURIO CABINET TO PUT MY SNOWBABIES IN.,..IT WAS TIME TO GET THEM OFF THE BABY GRAND.... I WANTED SOMETHING "THIN" AND THIS IS PERFECT (9" WIDE IMAGINE!) . THEY STATE THIS IS A MEDIA CABINET, BUT FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME, I WANTED SOMETHING TO GO IN MY HALLWAY, NOT TOO TALL, AND NOT WIDE..THIS IS PERFECT; IT CERTAINLY FIT THE BILL AND ALL MY SNOWBABIES ARE IN THIS... This is a very nice piece and the color is very rich. I had purchased it to hold photo albums and hadn't unpacked my albums yet. So, the cabinet is used to display framed photos and candles.

My husband putted together the cabinet and he didn't complain it was hard at all. I bought this for him and he loves it. the craftsmanship is beautiful, with real wood in areas. Would def. recommend this to anyone!!

This is a lovely piece of furniture. I was a bit disappointed that two of the shelves are fixed in place and are CD sized. The DVD's on those shelves are laid on their sides. I was impressed that two extra shelves were included so it could be used to store CDs instead of DVD's. There was a small chip on one end of a board but it's on the bottom inside so it doesn't show. Also the back board halves are different, but since it's up against the wall that didn't create a problem.

This cabinet looks like an expensive piece of furniture, but the price was good and I feel that I got a good deal. Beautiful piece! Doors slide instead of opening, saves space. Assembling the piece was a bit of a puzzle. The directions are not written very well. It took about 1-1/2 hours to put together. The holes for the screws could be better. Overall, after the cabinet was put together, we decided that we like it. Looks great! Would recommend this, but person who puts it together will have to have lots of patiences.

Very attractive & pretty easy to asemble. If you will be using it mostly for DVD storage, you will only have 4 shelves - the top and bottom will only fit cds or DVDs on their sides. I feel more organized already!

After looking for several months both on line and locally, I purchased this media storage unit. It is very nice looking and fits well with my family room decor. The sliding glass doors are a real plus for the small space I had, and they make the unit look much more expensive than it was. Assembly was not a problem, taking about 1 1/2 hours using the diagrams that were enclosed. Very happy with this purchase and a great value for the money.

We bought this media cabinet with an entertainment center from overstock. I was a little nervous because we normally dont buy things like this online. But we love it. It matched the entertainment center perfectly and looks great. It was easy to put together and is well made. The only thing I can complain about is the doors dont shut perfectly.

I absolutely adore this media cabinet. It took care of all of my cd's, dvd's, stuck some picture albums not to mention some of my knicknacks! Doesn't take up any space at all....just stuck in a corner behind my recliner. Love the sliding doors which allows for lesser space. First purchase with overstock and I thoroughly had a great experience.....they shipped in 3 days! Color is a nice dark brown (suits modern decor). Mind you this is made up of plywood but I wasn't looking for anything heavy and bulky, so it did the trick just fine. For the money it is definitely worth it.....no prob with assembly either....assembled within 2 hours or so.

I cannot express how pleased I am with this cabinet. The color is a beatiful mocha, not a cherry red as someone described on here. The assembly was simple and the pieces were heavy and well made. Sure there were a few marks here and there, but nothing to write home about. As far as the back paneling goes, mine was one piece that folded in half, and matched in color. All in all, it was exactly what I was looking for. Not to big and overwhelming, but large enough to hold plenty of CD's, DVD's and Blu Rays. The price was great and the color matched my decor, what else could you ask for?

I was very disappointed with the over all workmanship on this cabinet . The sliding door has a few marks on it. The back panels come in two pieces and do not fit together very well !! Also, back panals are two diffirent colors in back. It was not worth what I paid for it. May not ever buy again from this company. Will need to be mounted on wall in case of a earthquake. Cabinet, will not take much movement to tumble over.

I bought two of these and I have to say, first and foremost, they do look good as a pair. I bought one to hold CDs and the other to hold DVDs. If you are getting them soley for DVDs, I would like to point out that the position of the two fixed shelves only give you four shelves that can hold DVDs and two shelves that are left behind that can hold anything CD size. Together they would have given a fifth DVD shelf but separated they leave you with space to be filled in with something other than DVDs. The one for the CDs on the other hand looks great. Boxed sets of CDs just about fit snugly on the shelves but at least they fit. The rear of the cabinets I found frustrating with both. All the holes on the frame did not match up with the back board and twice I went diagonally through the side and out the other end. The CDs/DVDs hide that damage but it is there nonetheless. There are two parts to the back board and I feel that they do not come together well. The packaging prevents a single piece being shipped but I have seen other pieces where the board has been folded rather than be separated. There are no spare bits so make sure you don't misplace one single piece. It does recommend that the cabinet is attached to the wall but with sliding doors, I don't feel that is necessary. One of the reasons for going with sliding doors is that the weight never shifts, unlike opening doors. So in summary, a good product that looks great and is value for money. Just not the best thing designed in the world.

I am quite pleased with the media cabinet. It has a sleek, upscale look and holds plenty of DVD, VCR tapes and CDs. It has a narrow footprint, which is what I was hoping for. I especially like the glass sliding doors. The unit arrived within 3 days and was packed compactly and each piece was well protected. I'm not very good at assembly, but the instructions were quite clear and the pieces clearly marked, which made the enterprise much easier. I was able to assemble it within an hour.

This item was purchased as a display case for my coffee mug collection of different states and countries. It looks great and the view through the glass of the mugs is outstanding. It is truly a great piece.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture and the best media storabe cabinet I've found to display and keep my extensive music collection! Not only does it keep my collection dust free unlike a bookshelf or other storage cabinets I've seen on the market but it is really a beautiful piece of furniture! Despite a few comments I read prior to make this purchase that said how difficult it was to assemble, I found it easy to assemb.e and it only took me about an hour from start to finish! And the sliding doors went in easily and there was no need to make any adjustments what-so-ever. I just love it! I plan on purchasing a second one to use for my dvd collection soon and would recomment this product to anyone looking for a media storage cabinet.

This package was very heavy and not at all well wrapped. The pieces inside, however, were not damaged. While each piece was cleared marked, some did not correspond to the instruction. You really need to look at the diagram and use your judgment. (I believer another reviewer had also observed this.) It's not very difficult to figure everything out. I used my trusty power tool and assembly went quickly. The sliding doors have actual glass panels (which was the reason why the package was so heavy). The end product looks great! This cabinet is exactly what I was looking for -- a place where I can put all my DVDs and VHS's in a dust-free environment.

This is a beautiful cabinet after assembling. Our cabinet came with 2 different finishes on the 2 back panels. Overstock very quickly replaced these. There are 2 shelves that are permanent in the cabinet. The remaining shelves are adjustable, setting on wherever you put the pegs the shelves set on. The adjustable shelves started curling, as if the wood had not been dried. Got so bad that we removed the adjustable shelves. Will use with only the 2 permanent shelves and will put decorative accessories in the cabinet. Overstock was very good with the initial replacement of the back panels...I did not want to ask them to do yet another replacement, as we did not intend to use the cabinet for video storage as was advertised. The overall look of the cabinet, however, is absolutely beautiful!

The product was delivered in a timely fashion. My husband assembled it without too much trouble. It's appearance is good. One doors is a little rough sliding and there were a few blemishes in the finish. But overall, I am happy with the product.

Fortunately, the instructions for this cabinet come with a complete diagram, as the very first instruction is incorrect and you need to look at the diagram in order to figure out what the correct instruction should be. After that, though, this cabinet goes together very easily. We like it so much that, immediately after we assembled the first one and filled it, we ordered a second one. I put the second one together all by myself with no trouble at all. I like that most of the shelves are adjustable. Because we have a lot of old Disney VHS in the big plastic cases, we needed to be able to allow plenty of room. We stored the unused shelves behind the television in case we change our minds later and want to use the cabinets differently. The first cabinet is completely full with DVDs, VHS in the cardboard sleeve (since they're the same height as the DVDs), and CDs. Since the top shelf doesn't move and is just the right height for CDS, we have those there, then three shelves of movies, another shelf of CDs, and movies on the bottom shelf - six shelves total and all the space filled. The second cabinet hasn't been set up as efficiently because of those pesky Disney VHS tapes. I would think that this cabinet would also be great for paperback books, but not for hardbound books.
