  • Very nice milk frother

    Apr 15, 2014

    krlex  from Houston, TX, Rating:4.0

We make lattes and cappuccinos at home every day. We used to microwave the milk and then froth it with a manual stick electric frother or even a whisk to foam up the milk. Some times the milk would be too cold or too hot and you'd have to be there, standing by the mug, while doing it while being careful not to spill ;) With this product you will consistently make frothed milk at the same temperature and with the same foamy result. You can also set it up and brew your espresso which will gain you some valuable time in the morning when you're half asleep and in a hurry. The forther will stop by itself when the heating/frothing cycle ends. The interior of the milk container is made of a non-stick material. It is very easy to clean and since the container separates from the base you don't have to worry so much when you wash it as you'd do with other models. It comes with 2 stirring elements, one for frothing and another for just stirring (not much foaming). We like the looks of this fr...

  • Awesome espresso!!

The Saeco HD8752/87 Stainless Steel Intelia Automatic Espresso Machine makes excellent espresso and cappucino's. This machine makes great froth for cappucino and is very easy to use. I have used the Saeco brand before and it lasted for years in our office and was used all day, every day. This model is even better than the first one we bought.

  • Stop giving the big chain coffee bars your money!

    Mar 13, 2014

    kbinnyc  from Concord, CA, Rating:5.0

I worked for one of those big chain coffee bars, and I loved it! However, paying *** for a cafe latte everyday is frivolous...especially when you discover that you're paying for 14 ounces of steamed milk and only 2 ounces of espresso. That's right, you're paying for milk! Seriously, make your own lattes and mochas at home. You'll save so much money and you can make your drinks as strong as you like. This espresso maker is great. It takes up very little counter space, it's easy to use, easy to keep clean, and the price is unbeatable. My only criticism is that the steam wand is too close to the machine. Sometimes I'm too lazy to use the milk frothing pitcher so I use my coffee mug for steaming milk. If the coffee mug doesn't have a significantly wider mouth than the base, the mug doesn't rest on the countertop. Otherwise, this is a great machine.

Easy to use, makes delicious espresso with beautiful crema. Foaming nozzle is great for making cappuccinos.

Great espresso maker. Had some difficulty getting the grind of our beans right to maximize the bars on the gauge. Now that we've mastered the bean grind and the pressure when tamping the grinds, we get a consistent cup of espresso every time now utilizing the bar gauge. Can steam and run shot at same time, which is a plus and a timesaver. The only thing I don't like is the front of the "waste/drip" tray is getting a little scratched up because the froth pitcher can easily slide across it if you don't properly place it under the steamer….very minor in the grand scheme of things. I could keep writing more pluses about the machine, but this would be a very long review. :-)
