Espresso Cafe Dining Set

Just purchased this 3pc Espresso Cafe Dining Set and couldn't wait to put it together and see how it looked and felt in our small apartment. When it arrived, I was thrilled at the look and feel of this set, and I am SO glad I bought it from Overstock.com. My husband put the whole set together in about an hour or so, and it did come with extra brackets that weren't needed. (Not sure, but I think they were for a different set altogether). We live in a very small Manhattan apartment (aren't they all?) and it fit perfectly into the small space that we have allocated. It doesn't take up a big "footprint" as they say, but yet the table is large enough to VERY comfortably and easily accomodate place settings for 2, and the 2 parsons chairs are lovely to look at, and also comfy to sit in. They are padded nicely, both on the seat and the backing, and overall the set resembles the much more expensive leather ones for a fraction of the cost. We have a very modern decor, and apartment, and at first I was a tad bit apprehensive about the dark color of the set; the table and chair legs are a very dark espresso brown, (almost black) and the vinyl chair upholstery is absolutely black (with white stitch trim around the edges and down the center of the chairbacks which they don't show in the photo), and I was concerned that with our very light floors and walls, and overall decor, the set might "clash" or look too dark or somehow overwhelm our space, but in actuality, it only added a feel of sophisticated elegance, and class, and perhaps a bit of a masculine touch which I find appealing... VERY MODERN! Again, I am extremey happy with my purchase, and especially the price! I would highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a small 3 pc dinette set for their small apartment or homes, as it looks MUCH more expensive than it was!

Just put it together and set looks awesome for smaller condo. Finish, color all in all is impressive. Chairs could just be little bit heavier and cleaner. From all the packing there are some marks left but really I personally didn't care much about it. Great buy.

I relocated & was looking for small kitchen set. This was for a new apt. It fit perfectly. Chairs are comfortable & table right side for small kitchen area. Movers put it together in about 10 - 15 mins with electrical drill. Nice!

I just bought a house and i needed a breakfast table for the little room, I looked high and low and finally got on overstock was scared to order on line, but so glad i did....I LOVE IT !!!!! I can't wait to order more things. I would recommend this product to any one!!!

I purchased this product after assembling other furniture from two national chains. In comparison, this is not well made. The dowel rods that were supposed to line up the legs on the chairs were not all inserted at the proper angles. This made it difficult to screw the legs on and there were gaps at the junction of the wood where the pieces did not fit together well. There was debris leftover from drilling the holes that was still inside the bolt holes. I had to cut it free using a box blade before putting the parts together.I left the table top inside the box while I bolted the legs on so it was protected from scratches. When I turned the table right side up, one corner was bubbled up and lighter in color. I can't tell if it was allowed to get wet or sustained a blow of some kind. The box it was delivered in was pristine and the packing materials were uncrushed in the corners of the box so I am assuming the damaged top left the factory looking like this. Overall, this is not a purchase I would recommend to anyone.
