Ordered on a Friday and rec'd the next Wednesday. The chair was relatively easy to put together - but the reclining feature does not seem to work. I pull the lever underneath the seat, and the hinges which hold the back in place do not move at all. Also, there is no way to tightly fasten the back of the chair to the seat, so it seems very wobbly. If anyone has experienced these problems, please post a review that can help. If I can't figure it out or if the product is defective, I'm sure it will be a joy to return ~130 pounds of chair. Ugh...
We are very pleased with the high quality and workmanship of this leather recliner. It was purchased for my husband, who has remarked how comfortable it is. The storage ottoman is roomy enough for magazines, newspapers, blankets etc. I was surprised at how quickly this item shipped, receiving it within one week. I was able to assemble the chair myself and surprise him when he came home from work. There were no directions included, but it was easy to visualize and assemble.
I received my chair today and I'm extremely pleased with it...not to mention that it took less than a week to arrive. The chair was easy to assemble...4 main pieces, 6 bolts...but there were no directions included. If for no other reason than peace of mind, it would be nice to have directions and some type of manufacturer contact information. Other than that, I'm quite happy with my purchase.
The chair looks like it should cost at least twice as much as we paid. My husband assembled it fairly quickly. A great price for the chair and ottoman.
If you are debating on getting this leather chair and ottoman set, debate no more! I am very pleased with this set. The chair is roomy and the otttoman is perfect in size compared to the chair. The leather is soft and dark brown and is very nice that it has a hidden lever between the cushion and side arm for the reclining mechanism. I absolutely love it! My order was at my doorstep 3 days after I ordered it! You can not go wrong with this set!! Thank you Overstock.com!!
