You can't really put anything weighty on this table (a small lamp makes it tilt, unless set dead in the center of the table), but it looks nice, and was the right size and shape for my space. I would say it's closer to black than espresso - it's very dark. It went together in about 5 minutes and was very well packed. I feel it should be a little less expensive given its instability, but overall, I'm satisfied with it.

what you see is what you get, from the color to the size and easy assembly you will be very happy. It looks great between my two arm chairs.

I'd never ordered furniture from Overstock before, but would not hesitate to do so after this order. This is a really nice piece, exactly as described. It shipped quickly and was delivered quickly. Easy to assemble, no scratches or dings. I'd recommend it to anyone, mine is used as a small table in my office.

This table was just what I was looking for. I have it between two living room chairs. I can also use it as a dining table when my grandchildren visit. Easy to assembe and the price was just right.

This table is so perfect, I just came back and bought a second one! The picture doesn't do the table justice; it is absolutely beautiful and looks way more expensive than what you pay for it thru Overstock. The color is such a deep brown that it looks like a warm, soft black. I put it in the master bedroom which is decorated in a country French style with black furniture - it fits in beautifully! Everybody who sees it just loves it and thinks I paid a small fortune for it. I plan to put the second one between two chairs in the living room. This table is of high quality; it's heavy, solid, and extremely well made. It is perfectly balanced, no rocking or tipping. Assembly is quick and easy. The table is 5 stars, all the way!

This was the first piece of furniture I ever bought online without seeing in person. I am a little picky about things like this and based this purchase on the opinions of others through their reviews. I was very impressed when this table arrived. It is very elegant and well made. As of now I am using it as a bedside table, but I know I have flexibility with it to be able to use it in many different places in the house. I LOVE THIS TABLE! It was exactly what I was looking for at a killer price.

This delightful side table is as lovely in person as in the photo. It was a challenge to put together with only one person (the directions do note to use 2 people), but I was able to do it alone - with patience! As an interior designer, I highly recommend this item!

I ordered this table to display old family photographs and a lamp for a home I was decorating for a friend. When it arrived, I was overjoyed by the quality, the color, and the ease of putting it together. I have finished the project and this table located in a large combination living room and dining room is one of the focal points in the room. The home owners love it and, frankly, when it arrived at my home, I tried to order another one for myself, but it was already sold out. I should have know that for the price the item would go quickly. For more detail of its placement, it is in front of a large window and is centered between two high quality dark wood chairs that are upholstered in zebra fabric. It looks fabulous.

This is a good table for the price. The size is perfect for my foyer, the color is as dipicted in the photo and the table is fairly stable. Delivery was fast and installation was easy. The only problem is the table top arrived damaged in a couple of spots. It looks like the damage occured during construction, not the delivery. It was too much trouble to return the table so I placed items over the damage to conceal it. I plan to purchase another table for my bedroom.

This table had good reviews, but it's definitely not a quality table. The stem of it is a particle wood veneer that will strip the screws holding it together when assembling it. I suppose it would work for someone who is using it for decor only, but not functional for anything beyond a vase or the sort. Do not tighten the screws too much on assembly. As stated above, they strip easily and you'll ruin the table. Poor quality of materials...but then again, you get what you pay for. Spend a little more and find something without veneer in the description. Look for all solid wood for quality. Hope this helps!

I am very pleased with this table. I thought it might be too dainty, with the spindle and triangle base. The table is much thicker and sturdier than it appears. Since the table top is 30", the spindle and base are very substantial themselves. It is well made, solid wood, pretty color. My only concern is that one of the balls on the base was loose, I tightened the screw and it seemed the threads may have been stripped. It worked for now, the table is heavy isn't moved much. If I did have a problem later, I could always fill the hole with liquid nails then put the screw back in. It obviously wasn't that big of an issue for me to return the item. This table is exactly what I was looking for at a great price.

Table is beautiful. I am using it between 2 living room chairs and it fits perfectly. Table looks exactly how it's presented on the website. Color is perfect. Table was packed well for shipping and received no damage. It was very easy to put together, took me about 15 minutes and all the tools needed were included. I purchased this to put in our kitchen nook. We needed a small diameter table that was still dining table height (bistro size). I also wanted something that looked classic and was of good quality. This table seemed to fit the bill online, but I was a little skeptical because of the modest price tag. We received the table today and couldn’t be happier. I put it together in about 5 minutes. The finish is a rich color, probably a bit closer to black than espresso. The top has a nice wood grain and the weight is consistent with solid wood (not pressboard). It's true that if you put a lot of weight on the side (like if you leaned on it) it moves a little, but I’m not concerned about it being instable.

This is a very sturdy table that is actually much nicer than the picture shows, a pleasant surprise. It was in perfect condition, no scratches, dings, or defects. This is very similar to a table I found in a designer store that cost ***. What a bargain this piece was! I read where the table may not hold a lamp that was not centered. I did not find this to be the case. It has a 65 lb. limit. I will place glass on the top to protect it. Don't be afraid to order this table!
