Nice looking buffet. Very long. Assembly was time consuming but not difficult. The instructions were clearly laid out. Just make sure you have a lot of space. Bottom drawers stick, but overall quality is good, but not great. Comparible to the PB buffet, but i'm sure PB construction is a bit better.

First, I have to say that I am very pleased with the look of this buffet. It really does look ALOT like PB's Tucker Buffet. I am also happy with the drawer glides. They open and close nicely as do the doors on the cabinets. They do not feel cheap. (From a design point, if the glass in the cabinet was beveled, I think it would bring it up just a little bit more stylistically, but that's just me being super picky.) I really do love it. Having read all of the other reviews, I knew that this was going to take some work putting this thing together. I guess I was wishful that everyone else who put this together wasn't handy and that it just takes them longer to do this sort of thing. WRONG! This buffet takes quite a bit of time to put together. For many parts of if, you must have two people. (Putting the drawers together is a solo job if your husband wants to run away by then -- he'll have to come back to help you hang the doors though.) For this reason, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. BUT I have to say, all the hardware was there and the directions and parts were very clearly organized. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this.

Delivery was incredibly fast, even with the winter storms happening all over the country. I was amazed at how well packaged it was, like they've made an artform out of it. Assembly was very straight forward. I am a 5'2" woman and put this together myself (I did get a screwdriver blister since I don't own an electric screwdriver or drill). It is a beautiful, substantial piece of furniture that I will own the rest of my life.

This buffet is a great buy for the money. It's almost identical to the buffet I wanted at a high-end store, but about half the price. The differences are noticeable though (you just need to decide if the sacrifices are worth it for you). For example, the back of this buffet is cardboard, not wood (kind of a bummer, but no one will ever know). Also, the draw glides are metal, rather than wood, dovetail drawers. Finally, the knobs that came with our buffet did not fit the drawers correctly. They would not screw in all the way, so my husband and I had to purchase new knobs. Overall, we are pleased with this purchase. The buffet looks great in our dining room!

I am pretty certain this is the older version of the Pottery Barn buffet. I bought this for my wife for Christmas. All of our other furniture is black and this piece really mixed in well with the black furniture and with our light bamboo floors. I am pretty handy and it did take about 3 hours to put together, but overall, I was super happy with the quality of the furniture and the color being the darkest brown I've ever seen. The instructions were easy to follow for putting it together and I really enjoyed dealing with overstock. They were excellent service wise. My wife loves it!!

I purchased this buffet after reading the positive reviews on it. It really does take some time and space to put it together but it is very good looking once it is finished. The only thing I didin't like was the build of the glass doors, the glass is held in by 4 plastic bits rather than sandwiched between anything. All in all, it's a lovely buffet for the price.

Just my luck...I read all the reviews that noted this piece was black in color (not espresso brown as noted) so I purchased it to match my all black dining room furniture. Not sure what everyone was talking about - but it is DARK brown - when the light hits it is it is a rich chocolate brown. Does not look black next to actual black furniture !! However I was so impressed with the quality of the piece I'm keeping it anyway. It is study & well made. Took about an hour & thirty minutes to assemble. No issues, no missing or damaged parts. Came in three heavy & VERY well packaged boxes. Love it !!

The Good: Finished product looks good. A very good piece of furniture for the price! Nice size for a buffet. Fast delivery. The measurements were as listed (not sure what other reviewers were complaining about). Color is almost black which is fine for me but maybe someone might think it is too dark. Overall, very satisfied and glad with purchase. The Not so Good: It took us 7 hours to put together and my husband is considered to be quit handy. This is not a problem but just be aware it does take a while to assemble. The reason I am giving it only 4 starts is the drawers stick and are not smooth to open. You have to tug on them quit hard. I think this will work out over time because they are already getting smoother.

Overall, I'm happy with this piece. It is well made and looks great. It was however extremely difficult to assemble. It arrived well packed in three large boxes and all the pieces were there. We called in a cabinet maker friend to help with assembly and it took a full afternoon for him. The doors do not line up properly and will not latch, so he will need to come back and make some adjustments. A great price in my opinion and looks great, just be prepared for a project. Also, it does look almost black, rather than the espresso finish you would generally expect.

I bought this buffet to match some expresso furniture I purchased from *****. Buyer beware, it is nearly black in color ... not the warm dark brown of other brands with the same name. I'm keeping it because it is very good quality and fits the space ... but just want others to know ... its nearly black in color!

I absolutely love this piece of furniture except for one thing-it is quite a bit larger than the specs say. After I purchase someone put up a review with the actual measurements. It looks just like the one ***** has but the measurements say it is slightly smaller, however, it is just about the same size. Other than that, putting it together was easy. I did it myself with only a little assistance from my husband to lift the piece a couple of times. It is really heavy. One of my drawer runners was slightly broken upon arrival. It was easily glued back together, but if there was a part that was missing or broken I do not know how you would get it replaced because there is no company name on any of the packaging and no manual with any contact info. It is a great looking piece.

Make sure you have plenty of time and plenty of room. The dimensions are inaccurately advertised on the website. This server is actually 66" long NOT 59" long. The extra 7" posed a serious issue for us but after serveral hours of assembly, disassembling and returning it was not an option. I did call customer service and received a partial store credit, however it remains to be seen if I will spending more money in the end because now I have to find another piece of furniture to fit on the wall I intended this to go on. Other than this concern, the look, quality and original cost of this piece unmatched. Look in the ***** catalogue and you'll find the exact same piece for three times as much!

I bought this buffet after seeing the Tucker buffet (PB). Saved a ton of money ordering it online from Overstock, and saved 10% when I signed up for their Overstock newsletters!! It really is a dark wood color and does present as black. The color is not shiny at all and it looks like a high quality product. The wood does not look cheap at all, and in fact is very nice! When I ordered this buffet, the measurements were incorrect and it stated it was smaller than it was. The actual measurements are 66.5 inches long by 16.5 deep by 75 inches high. I almost sent it back because it was too long for the wall we intended, but my husband put it together (not a problem, but he is very handy) and the idea of taking it apart and putting it back in the boxes seemed to be too much. Besides I really loved it. We moved it to another wall and it really does look nice. It's bigger than it seems to be on the picture, and of course it actually is bigger than the measurements say. Maybe originally it was a smaller buffet. My friends give it a thumbs up. Overall for the price and quality, I am happy with this purchase!

This was my first purchase with Overstock.com, and I was very pleased with the process; from ordering to delivery. It does arrive in three heavy boxes, but my brother-in-law and I were able to put it together in approximately 3 hours. Why only 3 stars? The item arrived with a missing hinge. It still sits, incomplete, in my dining room. I am very disappointed that, try as they might, Overstock has not been able to locate the necessary hinge. Nor am I able to find four usable hinges at any local hardware store. I remain hopeful that the hinge will be replaced, but have not been able to recommend Overstock to my friends. We all agree that it is a solid piece of furniture; beautiful. It's just disappointing. Item is BEAUTIFUL, experience (aside from that missing hinge) was great.

It arrived in great condition on a Friday and put it together that weekend...the quality of the product is extraordinary, especially for the price. I saw a very similar buffet in xxxxxx, but the price was double and shipping was $100! My shipping on Overstock was only $1.00. It took two of us approximately 5 hours to assemble, but even my husband was impressed with the quality of the construction. Although Expresso, it really presents as a black with areas rubbed and matched perfectly with my black rubbed Windsor chairs. So happy with the purchase!

I love this server. I just got a new house and started shopping locally. My sister got one similar to this but I think mine is better :) I love the color and the quality of it. It took my boyfriend about 3 hours to assemble. But I know I can't get this quality at this price. Also, it shipped to my house for only $2.95. The top panel was broken when I got it. I emailed the customer service and they sent me the replacement part within 3 days. It's in my dining room and very pretty.. I absolutely love it!!! Now I need to buy some dishes~
