Chest arrived promptly in great condition. It was easy to assemble; you just needed to screw on the legs and drawer hardware. It has the appearance of an antique with lots of character. The wood finish is rich, and transitions well in a number of settings. We are using them for nightstands in a bedroom, but it would look great in a living room or entry hall too. This was a great value when compared to similar products. I am very happy with the purchase.

The chest arrived quickly , well-packed, and in perfect condition. It was easy to assemble (just add legs!) and everything fit together well. The wood finish is very beautiful - looks much more expensive than the price. Except for the backing and drawers, the piece seems to be solid wood. The only complaint is that the drawers have some gaps in the front where they don't perfectly meet up with the cabinet - not a perfect design, but a sturdy, functional, nice-looking piece for a great price.

I received and assembled the item yesterday, it arrived well-packaged, nothing broken. I have to agree with all of the previous reviews that it is an attractive piece of furniture on the outside because the outer shell is made of solid wood as far as I could tell. The interior however is poorly made and the back panel is flimsy at best, but since this will always be against a wall it didn't matter to me. One of the front legs did not fit well and it is noticeable to a careful observer, so I took off a star for overall looks. Also there are slight gaps around the drawers, not a tight seal when closed. Arrived with broken pieces - bottom drawer falls out because slat and side piece holding drawer in place came in three pieces. Beautiful looking but poorly made.
