This workstation looks very nice, and is compact enough for the small space we were using it for. The only drawback of this product was the instructions for assembly....a little confusing at times, and we had to disassemble one time to go back to the previous step.
I would have to say that I totally love my new computer desk. It is very organized and sits right at the right level for me. It was easy to assemble and has plenty of room to do my at home business and schoolwork. I would totally recommend this desk to anyone that was looking for a great desk.
I am not the most mechanically sound person in the world. Yet, I purchased this desk, put it together by myself and have been very pleased with the outcome! It fit my 21" monitor, cpu, keyboard, mouse and speakers with no problem. It's also very sturdy and easy to put together. The instructions were great! I'd recommend it to anyone for the money. It's also a great space-saver.
Assembly instructions are minimal and the pictures are small and difficult to follow. Had to go back and disassemble/reassemble the keyboard tray because of unclear instructions, Don't use a power screwdriver - I snapped the head off the first screw I installed. Extra screws included a big plus. Overall I very pleased with the quality, functionality and foot print. A good value and I recommend .
The only complaint I have is that the keyboard tray is to close to the bottom of the desk for my keyboard so I have to have the keyboard on the desk.
My desk arrived very quickly and in great condition. I had read reviews posted by other consumers so I was prepared to take my time, follow the directions and read/look through them before I started. I had no trouble. The screw driver that came with the pieces was too long for 4 of the screws that needed to go in and I found that challenging. Great product, looks nice and certainly met all expectations.

This is a compact, industrial looking desk that is sturdy but a bit tricky to assemble. It took my husband and myself about 1 1/2 hours. It is nice looking and works well for our small space.

Once assembled the desk is wonderful. well made sturdy great for homes, dorms etc. a great buy.
Sturdy, attractive (although I would gladly have paid a few bucks more for real wood), and there is room for everything. It took me 2 hours and 45 minutes to put it together--I knew this from other reviews--- but the directions are clear and I am glad not to have let this dissuade me from buying it.
This desk went together with out any problems. The instructions were great and they even sent a package of extra screws but it was not needed. The raised part of the desk holds my all in one fax, photo, copier, printer. I would buy this again.
The desk was relatively easy to assemble. It was done in about three hours. Instructions were good. All parts were there. The finished product looks great for the price and provides ample space. With ease, I would recommend this stylish computer workstation at such a reasonable price.
Very pleased with the desk overall. It did take some time to assemble, and needed two people. However, we had read previous reviews and were prepared to take our time. Overstock's service was excellent. A positive experience.
This desk well exceeded my expectations. It is sturdy, looks great and is nice and neat. I replaced a huge work station with this desk and I am thrilled. The price is wonderful - it looks like it cost twice the price. Getting it together was a bit difficult. Lots of screws and stuff. There were a few screws could not be reached with a regular screwdriver - powered or not. It is worth the extra effort because it is so sturdy in the end.
When I was looking at purchasing this item several people said that this until was a little difficult to put together and yes it was. But we took it slow, studied the pictures and put it together. It works great for my situation, needed something compact.
Thank goodness I'm mechanically inclined because this desk came without any instructions! The parts were well labeled, but I had to use the picture on the box to figure out how to put this together. Took approx 3 hours. Also, the workmanship is SHODDY- while the holes line up, the desk (at least mine) is not level. One foot is approx 3/4" off the floor. The printer stand was welded so poorly that the L joint is not a 90 degree angle, therefore the shelf doesn't sit level - had to shore the shelf w/ a small piece of wood to make it level. While I have purchased many items of the course of 6 years, this is the first time that I bought furniture from Overstock.com, and will most assuredly be the last. If it wasn't so much money, time and effort to send it back, this would be on its way back pronto. Caveat emptor!
I really like the desk. It looks great. I have a lot of room for many items.
I bought this for my son's room. It was fairly easy to put together, and it seems sturdy. It looks good and my son is pleased with it. If you are thinking about purchasing this, it is a good buy.
I have assembled a lot of furniture over the years. The difficulty with this one is that it is hard to tell from the drawings, which screw to use. You can tell the shape of the screw from the tiny drawing, but not the size. I chose them based on the size and depth of the pre-drilled hole. Not all of the holes were drilled in the right place under the main desk top. But I was able to use enough screws to make it sturdy. It was also a little hard to tell the direction of each piece. (The printer shelf should protrude inward, for instance and the rounded portion of the keyboard tray should face out.) The drawer and scanner shelf have a little trouble sliding in and out, but overall, it is attractive and a good deal for the money.
This desk excellently fits our need and space. There are only two things that might be a problem for some that I can see. One, the sliding tray for a scanner is a bit tight and too small for our scanner. We just put it on the desk top with the monitor and it fits fine. Also, when our printer is going the table shimmies a little, but that is no real problem. Just something you might notice. Other than that, I haven't found anything wrong. The keyboard tray is perfect, the drawer lets you keep things like pens, calculators, magnifying glass (for us older folks), and things like that. It really is a great desk for what we needed. It also fits perfectly in the space we had for it. As for the assembly, hmm, let's see. First, DON'T be in a hurry. Take your time. Pick a place where you can lay out the parts and look at them and the directions. It helps to have an extra hand to hold things in place as you put them together. The small screwdriver that is provided is good, but when putting the shelves and a few other pieces together, it is good to have a screwdriver with a 6 - 8 inch shaft. Really look at the drawer slide assembly and notice how it won't fit as well as how it should. The sliding shelf assembly, I think, has an "L" bracket kind of shape to it. The shelf fits inside the "L", just try that before you actually put it on the frame. My son and I put it together with only one do over on the drawer assembly. It really isn't too hard if you will take your time, have some sweet tea or coke, eat a piece of pecan pie, and laugh as you go along.
