My unit arrived well packed and with no damage. The instructions could have been a little better but if you take your time and think ahead it will go together with no problems. It took me about 3-1/2 hours. The slides on my unit work fine but if they tend to stick, some bees wax or a light cost of soap on the glides will will help them run very smoothly. Several reviewers complained of stripped screws. I suspect these were on the bottom of the CPU base from trying to force it in place. Attach the two curved brackets to the bottom of the base with the four screws, then back the screws off 1/1/2 turns so the slots in the bracket slide freely. Attach the two long screw through the main frame into the side of the base just far enough where they will hold. After the main desktop is in place, screw the headless pins into the bottom of the desktop. Then screw the long poles into the pins. Screw the long screws into the poles from the bottom side of the CPU base about half way. Tighten the long screws through the main frame, then the screws into the poles, and finally the four screws for the curved bracket. Someone complained of a flimsy drawer. Mine's is quite sturdy. I think the unit was an excellent buy for the price and it holds everything I need at the computer.

This is my second attempt to purchase (the correct) workstation. The first one was great but it was the wrong one. This one came dirty (Kool-aid or lipstick and coffee cup stains), scratched and without instructions! I chose not to send it back because I still have the first desk for 2 weeks waiting for a return shipping label. I doubt I'll buy from The BIG O again. I'm just hoping the rest of my orders come in unscathed.

This is a great workstation when you are on a budget. You get what you pay for, so of course it's not going to be great quality wood. However, it's durable, it has enough nooks and crannies to fit your cpu and other desk items, and it doesn't take up a lot of space. It was a breeze to put together, just read the instructions beforehand.

Compact, neat and practical desk. Multi-sectional shelves allow a place for everything. Drawer under keyboard has a spot for small items to be tucked away. Great deal.

I was so amazed on how wonderful this product really is. It was the easiest thing my husband and I have ever put together the screws were even labeled to where they were suppost to go. I would recomend this product to anyone. The desk is very sturdy also, and it looks great! It is such a space saver.

Arrived well packed with no damage. It was easy to assemble but I ordered cherry and it is very blonde- like an oak color. It's the composite wood with a veneer on it, but nothing seems to be real wood anymore anyway, so I expected it. It is tippy on the right side if you put the computer tower on the shelf but it is very space efficient and as a whole, I am happy with it. Lots of staorage area.

I was really excited when the desk finally arrived, as soon as I got home from work that evening, I started putting it together and didn't stop until I was done it took me all of 21/2 hours, which I didn't think was bad for someone who had just been on their feet for the last 8 hours, the color is great and the piece looks great where I have it sitting, it' s being use mostly by my children, now all of there electronic equipment is now off the floor and everything they use while at their desk is easy for them to reach, they have enough space, they haven't even used it all yet, my favorite section is the rack for your disc and the shelf at the right which is the perfect height for a small lamp.

Very nice workstation! If you have a small space and need to put a lot of stuff somewhere, this is for you. took me a little time to assemble but after it was done, I was really happy with my decision to get this desk.

I have a laptop so this gives me lots of room to write and pay bills while using the computer--the printer does shake a little but I think I will get used to it--assembly was "challenging" but we finally got it together--for the money, it's great.

The desk was and is complete and satisfactory Very conpact and usable - the directions on assembling it can use sone clarifying. Ralph

This is a great desk for the price. I was suprised at how sturdy it is. Some of the reviews I read when shopping for this said that the drawer under the keyboard was flimsy, but this is not the case with my desk. This is a very attractive desk with a lot of room, and it takes up very little space. I would buy it again in a heartbeat! One thing to keep in mind is that this desk would best fit a flat screen or small monitor. A large monitor would not fit. Otherwise perfect!

When I received the desk the box was ripped up as if it were opened and the pieces fell out. Someone must have tried to fit the parts back into the box and keep it closed with several pieces of tape. This could have happened during shipping but i'm not sure. One of the keyboard sliders was bent. I had to take it off and bend it back. There is a small split on the top shelf where the printer belongs. While putting the desk together, some of the parts were labeled backwards, which caused me to take it apart a couple of times. After finally putting it together it seems like it will be a sturdy piece of furniture. I haven't put my computer on it yet so the jury is still out its sturdiness.

The desk is attractive and has all the necessary features. However, the printer shelf is too high. To use it with the computer off, I have to stand on a chair. Additionally, there is no separate mouse pull-outledge. I have to either use the mouse from the desktop or angle the keyboard to use the mouse on the keyboard shelf, which is awkward.

Great desk. It took a few hours to assemble but the directions were fairly easy. My only complaint is one of the drawer slides was broken. I emailed Overstock twice a week ago to replace the part and they have not responded. Poor customer service.

The workstation desk suits all of my needs. It is compact, sturdy, and contains more than enough storage/work space. While the pieces are very heavy when building the unit, it is very sturdy once put together. I had no problems using the tools supplied. The only problem I had was that the keyboard tray would make such a high pitched my dog would cry every time I closed it.

I love this desk. It fits my needs perfectly!

The product arrived in good condition. It was easy to assemble, approx. 45 - 1 hour. Lots of area space. The only thing is the printer shelf on top no exactly the best position because if the printer is a deskjet/inkjet it shakes the desk as it prints. However, laserjet users should not have this problem. The shaking is a minor consideration.

The desk was not packed very carefully and was a little banged up upon arrival. I thought it was made of solid wood but there is a plastic-like veneer on the "wood" part of the unit which was a disappointment to me. The desk does hold a lot of stuff and all in all it is a pretty nice unit.

I love the desk but wrong color. I ordered cherry oak but its more like tan. I called the store but they said I got the right color. I think that the picture of the cherry oak should be eliminated because that is not what I got. I love the desk and it helps me with space and it is so easy to use my computer. Its better than using my kitchen table. Even though with problems with the color it is still 5 stars rating.

i wanted a work station that would not take up a lot of room and one that would work for all the things i keep at hand and this unit does ... theres obviously spots for the basic pc set up ... plus my woofer which is large and speakers, router ... all my 3 ring books, my ups, printer and much much more ... all the little things that use to be on top of my other unit now have their own drawer ... so i am a happy camper because this one really works for me
