I bought this as a gift for my husband for his 17 inch laptop. It was almost exactly what we were looking for.
The only complaint is that it does not quite go low enough for working while seated on our couch. Other than that, it is wonderful....small enough, compact enough, and able to hold his accessories and books. Have seen nothing to compare anywhere else!

The desk itself is very nice looking. It was easy to put together and for the first two days I was very happy with this item! However, after one attempt to adjust the heighth of the desk, the piece on the right side of the desk broke! I was really disappointed because I thought the concept of this item was a good one -- too bad it wasn't the quality I had expected.
