This pad was purchased for a new queen "select comfort" bed. We purchased the "classic series" model which costs less than the other models. By adding this memory foam pad, it feels like a much more expensive mattress. The firmness is just right.

We had just purchased a new extra firm mattress, which was comfortable in the store but very uncomfortable to actually sleep on. I researched memory mattress toppers, and read that the "sweet spot" for affordable toppers is a 2" topper with 4 lb. density foam. I buy organic foods, and really wanted to find a topper that didn't off gas as much as the toppers my friends had. This green topper took only 48 hours to be completely odor free. When I first put it on the bed i covered the mattress with a fitted sheet, then covered the topper again with another fitted sheet. This kept the smell to a minimum. I can sleep again without waking every few minutes because my back or legs hurt. I would recommend this mattress to a friend!

I am very impressed with the quality of this memory foam pad, for the price. It's not the most amazing memory foam I've ever felt, but in it's price range it seems to be impressively high-quality, especially for being eco-friendly. No bad smell, no other downsides. The thickness and support are both optimal (support is pretty soft); my only complaint is that now I never want to get out of bed!
