  All in all, it was a good purchase for our kids to put their tv and playstation in. The color was a bit off from the description, but we were having our trim sprayed, so I had the painters hit this with the same color and it turned out well. Assembly is better with 2 people, but I did it alone in about 40 min. Don't tighten screws too much or they will break through the wood. They felt loose to me, but more screwing won't help! When the back is put on it makes it stronger. I also added wood glue and it is fine now.

  I looked at local high end furniture stores and couldn't find a cabinet to match my Craftsman furniture. When I bought this I was worried about assembly but it worked -- took a little time but it came out great. I would recommend an electric screw driver -- my thumb is still sore -- but it looks terrific and does the job. About three hours for assembly for me with manual screwdriver.

  I was hesitant to spend so much money on a piece of furniture online with no reviews, but I am so glad I did. This piece is amazing! It's solid wood, the perfect darkness in color that I wanted, and a great size. Just beware, because it's such a solid piece of furniture, it's really hard to move. It is HEAVY! The iron detailing accents it perfectly. The only complaint (but I've made due) is that DVDs won't stand up on the shelves. I've had to lay them flat. However, my xbox fits perfectly on the shelves, as does my kinect on the top. It's a beautiful piece and I highly recommend it. I know I'll have it for years! It's a classic piece.

  I purchased the Normandy Tobacco TV media stand, console table and coffee table all from overstock.com. The product arrived very quickly and all of the products were in great condition. I had no issues assembling the product. Although it took some time to do, it was very rewarding to finish it myself. The only thing I would say is be careful with the lock pins as they snap easily. The quality of the product is amazing. I did not expect to get this furniture and keep it for many years. I am using it for an apartment, but these products will definitely be coming with me when I get a house. I will recommend this product to any one who wants a great product at an affordable price. I have recommended overstock.com to numerous people and I have made many purchases over the past few months. I am very pleased with everything.

  I'm giving 4 because of some slight scratches on one of the planks. It didn't matter for me as those ones went inside during the assembly and weren't visible to the eye. Overall - I love this Console, it's beautiful.
