Assembly Required

nice desk
The desk is very nice, especially the color. It has a contemporary feel, but something about it makes it feel mature and classy as well. Our office ordered one for me, and I absolutely love it. I put it together myself and it was VERY simple, not complicated at all. The keyboard tray feels very solid, doesn't feel like the tray will fall out easily. I use a laptop at work so i don't necessarily use it as a keyboard tray but I keep some of my documents on it and it works very well in that regard as well. Beautiful desk!!

Simple & elegant.
As I have mentioned on previous reviews - get yourself an electric screwdriver and save yourself hours of work. I managed to build this desk under an hour (but I am adept at this construction as I've built many such items from O). It was pretty straightforward. I ordered two desks. The first package was 100% undamaged and no missing pieces, however, the 2nd package had one of the drawer railings ripped form the piece it was supposed to be on - however, found the 3 little screws and re-attached it to where it was supposed to go. Else, no other damage was noted. They are pretty good looking and elegant and I like the keyboard drawers and there is a nice hole in the back for the wires to go through as well as the side cabinet for the computer. The drawer is tiny, BTW! Each desk weighs over 70lbs as a received package, and can be dragged by one person inside, but requires two people to pick up if you live up a flight of stairs.

Happy with purchase
I just bought this desk for my sons dorm and he loves it. It didn't take long to arrive and it arrived undamaged. It's strongly built and it can hold a lot of weight. The assembly was fairly easy and the manual was easy to follow. The color is nice and rich like the picture shown. I would purchase again from overstock.
