I love the light, but might have to change the shades. They are not crisp white llike the picture at all. They are ivory/cream, which, together with the other finishes, makes it look like it is 40 years old (not in a good way!). Looks like what white shades would be in a smoker's house to me. Other than that the quality is superb and it is a beautiful fixture. It is nice and bright in the dining room, which is what I wanted.

It appears that each inner package was opened; perhaps to check that nothing was missing. Very commendable but perhaps because some parts were already assembled, a "socket ring" was missing from the assembly. We triple checked all the packaging but no luck. It is extremely disappointing to have to find one of these on our own. We really like the product otherwise. Perhaps you could send us one? Hint hint! Without it one of the shades is crooked.

Really nice chandelier that looks fantastic in our stone home. Gives great light and looks wonderful with wood accents. Great buy!
