Mixed review I plugged this in and it registered 80% humidity. After running it continuously 24 hours it was down to an ideal 45%. I can breathe easily, and this is life changing. I'm very glad I bought it. That being said, it's much to loud for me to sleep with it in room, which is what I needed it for. The tank doesn't glide into the unit no matter how carefully I try to align everything. I have to really whack it into place, which I don't like because I'm afraid of damaging it. And it leaks when I pull the tank out to empty the water. Overall, I'd look for another product without these flaws, and while this is a smallish unit which makes it easy to move when I move from one room to another, I think I actually need a unit with larger capacity.

I love this beast We had been having problems with too much moisture in our townhome in the winter. We live on the coast and the evenings get chilly, but by noon it's almost always warm. Well, the chill outside coupled with our interior heat left a heavy dew on the windows daily. This guy is sucking all the moisture out like a champ! We don't use it all the time, but when we do we can easily get pints of water in an evening or by morning. It's got a quite hum and a self-stopping timer if you happen to let it fill up to much. I highly recommend it!
