Ok so I love this chandelier so much I am on my 4th purchase,I moved and couldnt take my first 2 with me so I was so happy to see overstock still had them instock so I bought 2 more for my new house.I just love that it transforms a room to modern brightness....Highly recommend for bathroom bedroom or living room!!

I have a super handy relative and a tall boyfriend who have installed light fixtures in our home before and were able to get this installed without professional help. However, it took several hours. The directions that come with the chandelier are really terrible. If you haven't installed light fixtures before/know what you are doing, I definitely do recommend hiring a professional. The quality is good. It doesn't look like it cost thousands and thousands of dollars, but it definitely has a beautiful shine to it and dresses up my dining room significantly. The packaging smelled awful though. Very strong chemical factory smell. Not a deal breaker though.... This would be great in a bedroom too, I'm considering buying another already! The crystals are pretty (can't wait till tomorrow so I can see them in the sunlight!) and the shade is actually made of tons of tiny strings (so unique!), so the shadow is really quite lovely. For the price, this is amazing. So much better than what you find at home improvement stores like Lowes and Home Depot for less! Will be purchasing more light fixtures in the near future from o.co!

Purchased two. Very awesome. My husband is very handy thankfully. He said they were a pain to out together (completely disassembled). Had we brought this at the store assembled this would have been a lot more. Love them!

The chandelier is that perfect fusion of modern and traditional. The assembly of this puppy is a nightmare. It comes with sub-par instructions and 50 pieces. If you're not a handy type you literally might need to hire it done and hung. The shade looks cool but is made very cheaply and bits of string break off here and there very easily, so be very careful with it. Other than that the finished fixture hung looks very chic and surprisingly expensive. There are a ton of crystals and because they are glass and not acrylic, it helps the piece look rich. You hardly notice the shade after it's hung and especially when it's lit. All in all a rock bottom bargain for the fixture. I would buy again.

I bought this chandelier for my bedroom and it looks stunning. It gives off great light but still setting a relaxed tone. The chandelier is actually far more elegant and detailed in person, and it looks beautiful!

This is a very pretty chandelier. It looks just like the photos on the website. You do have to assemble it but I thought it was very easy to put together - took about 30 minutes. Great value for the price.

I bought this chandelier to add to my newly expanded mini spa for the entry way into an old, charming downtown building. The style of this chandelier fits perfectly and blends well with some more updated features we have in the space, too. My electrician said the hole where you insert the wires in the center was a little tight to get all the wires in but that's because he's a professional and has more finesse when it comes to handling wires. I had tried to do it myself when I assembled the rest of the chandelier but could not succeed. It didn't take a great deal of time to put together and the end result is beautiful.

I hung it n the dining room and just love it. I tend to be a little more contemporary and love that the light is traditional but the shade gives a very comtemporary look. The sparkle it gives is very classy. I am thinking about buying another one.

I bought another chandelier (slightly different) from overstock but I actually like this style and quality better. I am back to purchase another for another room because I love it so much. It sparkles because of the glass arms and the light is nice and bright, especially with bright white bulbs I purchased separately. Beautiful!!!

I ordered the chrome and black crystal chandelier with the same shade in black previously. This is NOT the same thing. The base of this is shabby chic with a whole bunch of glass pieces. Oh, btw, you have to put this chandelier together and it comes in a million pieces. There wasn't anything wrong with this chandelier except that it wasn't just like the black one that I got previously. I was looking for something modern.

Other reviews are accurate. Chandelier is very pretty but a little difficult to put together. It's worth the effort though because chandelier looks great once accomplished.

I got this for my babys nursery. I was going for a modern yet shabby look and it was perfect. My nursery is bigger than average so the size was great too. Took about 30 minutes to assemble the crystals onto the chandelier. The light needs to be professionally installed.
