I was shocked when I opened the package and saw this quilt and matching shams. It is so far superior to what is looks like on the internet and for the price I paid. You could not even buy the materials to make this for this price let alone do all the work involved in quilting it. I generally do all the quilting for my family but I could not pass up buying this one. The reverse side is as gorgeous as the front with little tiny rows of lace spaced out in the pattern it is the most feminine and cozy quilt I have ever bought or made. It is so lovely that I gave it to my 8 yr. old granddaughter but I am considering buying another one for myself. Oh, it also went through my washer and dryer and came out fluffier and prettier than before.
I read the reviews and then ordered this quilt for a young girl. The reviews were accurate. The quilt is of superior workmanship. The fabrics are beautiful and the quilting professionally done. The finishing touches of lace and ruffles just add to the quality and appearance. It is a soft, cuddly quilt.
I just put this on my daughter's big girl bed (she won't be in it for a year or so, but what the hey!) It's very pretty and soft. I love the blue and the purple together. The room she will move into was already painted blue and I wanted to buy something girly without having to change the color. This works and I'm happy with my purchase. I have seen this online at other stores for much more $!
The quilt is very sweet and well made. The colors are different from pictures. More of a robins egg/light aqua-ish color than the periwinkle color and the lavender is a very soft light lavender. It is very pretty though and I would buy it again.
Just received this quilt set for my daughter's room, it is lovely. A little light weight but perfect for summer sleeping which is what I bought it for. The colours are beautiful, could match purple, pink,and blue. The room colour is like a hydrange blue and it is perfect with it. This is the first purchase from overstock and I am very pleased.
