This trunk is beautiful, but it came to me in pieces. It was broken before it was shipped, because of the way it was broken. I was heartsick over it. It would have been a great piece, but I won't shop at overstock.com again.
We purchased this for ultimate use as a lightweight coffee table. The leather on the top had some "bubbles" in it and the wood is very thin. Really, it is best if you only planned to use it as a decorative accent piece. the overall look is just as you see, and t he color is very nice, but I suspect I would not buy again. This is the only overstock item we have purchased that we did not love.
I love it. I shopped around for trunks for quite some time, and the price on this one was appealing. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when the trunk arrived. It's a great decorative piece in my home.
