This is a very good-looking, sturdy, and functional armoire. We are now using it to store heavy coats, with hats, shoes, and other small items on the top and bottom shelves, and couldn't be more pleased. We assembled the armoire in under 3 hours - it was a pretty easy process even though the instructions could have been translated better. It arrived in good shape, and all of the necessary pieces were included and fit together properly. There _is_ a way to adjust the hinges so the doors align properly, even though the instructions do not describe how to do this - if you have assembled similar furniture before, it should be easy. Simply put, the screws in the middle of the hinges move the doors closer together or farther apart, and you can loosen the screws on either side of the hinges to adjust the door height or move the doors forward or backward. With experience from other furniture, we were able to align the doors perfectly. If the instructions had included this info and had been written in better English, we would have given this unit 5 stars for ease of assembly too.
We'd been looking for something for the corner of our room and finally found one fits my budget.We added boxed storages on the bottom to store small stuff. The color fits well with other furniture we have(went with Walnut), the wood is very study as well.
