The file cabinet is really nice and very good looking. The file drawer itself is a little small. It is OK for folders but if you have anything with labels that stick up past the hanging folder it hits the top of the drawer when closing it.

Do not waste your time or hard earned money on this file cabinet. Usually, we are very pleased with OS.com products; however, this one should be removed. The box arrived intact and was well package. That's the only positive aspect of this cabinet. The instructions were poorly written, but that's ok. The cabinet pieces were flimsy and difficult to construct. Most of the brackets broke when I tried to tighten them with my screwdriver. In fact, after struggling with aligning the cabinet pieces and 6 broken brackets, I just took the entire thing out to the trash!

THe file cabinet I received had scratches and had clearly been used at some point and returned. The wood and parts were very low quality, and it was a bit difficult to put together. It's essentially an ikea piece, but not the same quality. Some of the screws broke while screwing them in- they must have been very cheap. All in all I do not recommend buying this.

Fairly easy to put together. looks nice. 4 stars instead of 5 because it is not as sturdy as it looks. The cam locks and bolts are the cheaper variety that don't tighten as well as I've seen used in other products. The look is nice, but it is not extremely sturdy.

Arrived with some nicks; could live with the sub-standard quality because I paid so little, but the drawers are too shallow to hold file folders, they drag the bottom. After spending the time putting it together (which was pretty easy) don't think I'll bother trying to send it back.

I was not impressed with these tables at all. The Quality was not very good, hard to put together. The fit of the parts was not good. and I am glad that one of the boxes had two packs of hardware, otherwise I would not have been able to one together. We decided to just keep them., since they are assembled. Good thing I do assembly work as my main JOB!

I searched for months to find just the right file cabinet at local department and furniture stores to come up empty handed. Finally located this piece on Overstock and it was the style and price I was looking for. It only took about 30 minutes to assemble (with 2 people). It's solid, sturdy and stately and makes a great addition to my home office. I would recommend this to anyone with a small space. Although the cabinet is not big, it has a great amount of file room.

Pros: Fairly easy to put together if you've had experience with putting furniture together before. I did it in about 2 hours (single female). Arrived quickly. Takes up little space and doubles as a table in my office. Cons: Quite a bit of damage during shipping. Laminate missing on the shelf (luckily in the back), but also on the front of the drawer. Edges of the entire drawer were rough and missing in patches. Had to buy a stain pen to fill in so that it would look half way decent. Careful when pulling the drawer out, the unit tips forward which is not great when you have something sitting on the top. Files sit at an angle so that they don't hit the top when closing the drawer. Had it not been more trouble than it was worth, in shipping expense and boxing back up, I would have returned it. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

We decided on this set because Overstock had an entire office suite set, including a stand for our flat-screen TV, and because it was inexpensive. The quality is good for the price - decent overall. The furniture looks fantastic now, but it also looks like the quality of furniture that will have to be replaced eventually. We don't use our office that much though, so I definitely see this lasting 5 years. That would be great, because it does look fantastic.

Just as described; easy to put together and looks great. ***** sells a comparable model for about $200 more; this looks better and is a solid piece of furniture. Worth the money.

For the price, the cabinet will achieve the necessary results. Several flaws were found in the design - drawer does not always close flush w/the cabinet. Several surface scrapes were found before we assembled the item.

This was a good experience. Easy to assemble and color what I expected. There were scratches and small nixes on the side panels and the file drawer depth came a little shorter than the hanging folders I had at home.

A lovely, functional piece of furniture, that looks really nice in my office/bedroom. My son put it together and did not take him long to do. Really pleased with it and can highly recommend this to someone looking for a night stand/filing cabinet. Nice dark wood, matched my computer desk that is a few years old.

I needed something classy yet inexpensive for my office, where I see patients. This matched the Elsa desk that I purchased. It's a good quality laminated wood, but it's still laminated. One crossbar was missing and another had a ding on it. Both were on the front and highly visible. An online chat with customeer service replaced them both. It took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble. Maybe the second one will take less, now that I've got experience. Overall, I'd say it's worth the money.
