Nice looking desk and very easy to put together; only the legs needed to be screwed on. Down side--the front of the keyboard tray would not stay closed and actually broke off within the first week of use. Other than that the desk feels sturdy; for the price you really can't ask for more.

The desk looked great in the photos. However, when it arrived the desk top was chipped in 3 places. The chips were were visible. Since the desk is very heavy, I did not try to return it. Instead I will use it as basement furniture. A little disappointing since this is the first thing I ordered from Overstock

When my order arrived, the desk was packaged very poorly and the drawer - instead of being packaged outside the desk - was shipped in the desk. As a result, the desk runners broke off from the side of the drawer and the screws were either stripped out of the wood or ripped out of the wood (breaking the thin strip of wood all together). There was also a large, wide scratch across the top of the desk. Overstock customer service was AWESOME and immediately shipped me a whole new desk, since the only thing that didn't need to be replaced was the legs. Guess what? The new desk shipped in exactly the same way, despite the customer service personnel's written description of the issue, so when the second desk arrived, the drawer was again pulled loose and broken off from the side runners. Overstock.com credited me sufficient money to get the drawer repaired locally, since this time the new desktop was fine. I'm a HUGE fan of Overstock.com now, since they handled this very well, but I don't have a confident feeling that this desk would ship differently next time, so I don't recommend it. I ordered the desk for my son's room - for homework and it serves its purpose perfectly.

It looks nice, however it does have a few flaws. First, the pull out drawer does not stay upright, it keeps falling down. Second, on the underside of it, it is made of bad looking wood. However, great deal on price!

Beautiful desk - I absolutely love it! Bought it for my living room and it looks great and compliments the funiture I already have. I love the coloring and would def. recommend.

The desk looks great in my living room and is exactly what I wanted! I didn't want an office type desk, just something simple to put my lap top on so I could do my school work while looking outside, instead of stuck in the back bedroom/den. I went to several stores before purchasing this one. This was the nicest and at a great price.

If you are looking for something inexpensive and yet elegant and looking expensive to match your other high quality furniture (my wall unit cost me $3,000), then this writing desk is perfect in everyway. It blends in perfectly with my other office furniture. Easy to assemble, but be careful in unpacking the center drawer. The dimension of the writing desk allows you the flexibility to put it into different configurations., i.e. against wall or free independent standing. Hope this helps.

The desk is perfect for the space in my bedroom. I was looking for a desk that was narrow and this one meets my needs. It is a good solid desk. Shipped fine and as expected. As others have said the drawer on this product will need to be fixed. The rails are assembled with really small screws and slip out of the holes for the rails.

I was very disappointed in the quality of this desk. The only wood on the desk are the legs. Easy to assemble but if you want a pile of press wood, this is the one. Looks like a warehouse reject! The end of the desk was chipped. Not returning because I dont have time for the hassle! Would not buy this and probably will not be shopping at this site again.

Honestly, all I can say is that it was MUCH better than expected... especially for the price. Would have given it 5 stars except the panel on the front drawer opens flat for easy access, and that is challenging with a baby. Others may really like this added feature.

For the price the desk was fine. Assembled easily. The drawer sticks slightly, finish is slightly uneven. No major issues. Bought for daughter for first apartment - she was on a tight budget and was fine with the quality given the low cost.

I bought this small desk mainly because it looked like it would match two dressers I had bought from Overstock previously. While it does match the dressers, it is a very basic, cheaply made desk. There is one slide out drawer with a front that folds down to accomodate a computer keyboard. The drawer front would not stay up, so I glued it shut permanently with super glue. The desk is big enough to hold a small lamp and a small TV, which is all I needed it to do. The finish on the desk seems very fragile. It was chipped in a few spots, but not noticeable, so I am keeping the desk. If you need a sturdy desk that will be used a lot, this is not what you want.

The desk arrived promptly and in good condition. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I only had to attach the four legs; all the other components of the desk were already assembled. The color was exactly what I wanted and well reflected in the photo, although I couldn't be sure what I would get based on the written description. It does not appear to be as prone to scratching as other reviews had suggested. My only complaint is that the desk drawer does not quite close flush to the rest of the desk front. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is a wonderful and solid little desk. Just perfect for a laptop working area. Had my contractor assemble it in about 15 minutes. He also loved it.

Desk is a wonderful piece, large and solid and very simple to assemble. Top is one piece, 4 legs with 2 screws each, allen wrench included. Took me 10 min to assemble by myself. Beautiful desk!! You won't be sorry.

This desk is perfect. Very easy to assemble, only took maybe 5 minutes. Just remove from shipping carton and screw legs on. Drawer slides perfectly smoothly, wood has a very nice finish. All in all exactly what I wanted and the price is very fair!
