Maybe I just decided I didn't like it as much as I had hoped to. The colors are dark and somewhat depressing - the gold center have a lot of black spots on them. My daughter likes the piece, so it's not a total waste.

Overall, value/price was fair for the product and it does make the dramatic statement I had in mind. I was disappointed with the workmanship, the colors were darker/more muted than the impression I got from the item listing. In my case, it made a huge difference in what I was trying to achieve. Also, there are several areas where the finish had rubbed off, and looks like "fingerprints." Some of the gold squares have black streaks which don't look like they belong. One corner is bent slightly which makes that portion jut out another inch+ from the wall than the other three corners. Installation was pretty straightforward but have another set of hands, if possible. I actually chose this piece to compliment the Judy Bagnato Orchid Panel canvas paintings, and I think that it does work for this.

Buyer beware on this one! The image is not even close to an accurate representation of the actual product. It's much darker, and from my perspective, too dark. ALL hanging parts were missing when I opened the box. And one corner bends out from the wall, so the nails I purchased to attach it to the wall don't even make contact with that corner.Honestly if it wouldn't be such a hassle finding a box big enough to return it, I would have already. As it stands, Overstock agreed to refund me a portion of the price. But it's barely worth THAT price.If I had an option of giving Zero stars for Workmanship and ease of assembly, I would have.

It is a statement on my office wall that nobody can ignore. Creates a lot of impact. It is less deep than I thought, though. Great value for the price and looks great.

I bought this item to put outside, but the colors are perfect in my sitting room. Another great buy.

This piece is beautiful. I bought it because I don't have a headboard and this piece is actually a perfect substitute. The colors are a littler deeper than they look in the picture which for me was better.This is a stately more contemporary piece. If that is what you are looking for you won't be disappointed. I love it.
