This piece is absolutely amazing. It needs at least two people to put together and hang since it's on the heavy side. The color was right on point. We use it for storing our winter gloves,mail, sunglasses etc. perfect entryway piece.

Moved into a new place without a coat closet and needed a place to stash my coat/purse/mail, etc.... I had a really hard time finding a unit that had 1) a shelf 2) the cubbies 3) hooks. Everything I seemed to find had one or two of the requirements, but not all three. So, when I found this, I purchased it right away! Without looking at the measurements.... Be aware that this unit is quite large. It almost doesn't fit in the space I have available. Be smarter than I am and read the measurements! Other than the unexpectedly large size, this unit is exactly what I expected. The hooks are nice and large. Personally, I think it looks nice, even though it is particle board. Of course wood would be better, but I like the price tag of this one. I did buy the bench to accompany...still having mixed feelings about this ONLY because they are both larger than expected. But if you have the space, the bench is nice for storing shoes and having a place to sit and put them on before leaving the house. I cannot comment yet on durability, but both units seem solid (i.e. they don't rock side to side once put together).

We also have the matching bench. Both look great in our entry way. All of our guests use them both for jackets and shoes when they visit. We did change the hooks. We did not like the chrome finish hooks that came with it, and they did not match our home's fixtures. We went to a home improvement store to replace the chrome hooks with a dark oil finish set of hooks that blend in more with the color of the cubbie. Very rich espresso color that looks very nice. Great way to finish our entry way. We have received very nice compliments on it. We would recommend it to any one.

An anniversary gift for my daughter and son in-law, as they remodel their entry to their home which flowed into their dining room and kitchen. Having pulled away a wall and a coat closet, left a need for something to compliment the new space as well. The Cubbie was the answer to provide a warm welcome to visitors to their home. It becomes a part of the remodel and fits the decor of the space without standing out too much, but convenient to guest and the storage shelf is a great place for all those baseball caps!

The overall product looks nice, but the quality is average at best. The top finish chips easily. The holes for assembly were in the wrong position for wall mounting. I had to deconstruct and drill new hold 1.25 inches back from their manufactured place so that it would fit on the mounting board.

For the cost, this is a great find. Easy to put together and looks good installed on the wall. It does have a part in the back that shows through to the wall, but with baskets in the cubie you can't really see anyway.

To use my husband's words, "this thing is crap." The shelf is particle board and arrived with several dings and scratches in the "wood." The laminate on two pieces has milky/opaque stains. The piece is large and in overall appearance very similar to the picture online. It's not the sturdiest when put together but will serve it's purpose for hanging hats and scarves. We are keeping it simply because we threw away the box and it's not worth the hassel to return. Buyer Beware.

I was postponing assembling this unit thinking it was going to be a hassle. I was pleasantly surprised. It was so easy to assemble and hang on the wall. The most difficult is finding the storage baskets to fit the cubbies. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This is the perfect shelf to go with the Ellsworth bench. This piece is solid and durable and easy to assemble. The hooks are on the "light, plastic" side, but that is easily changeable if desired.

The quality of the wood and materials is not good. My boyfriend is a very hand man and an electrician who puts things together on a daily basis. He knows the materials are not of good quality and the instructions are not well written. The picture and description is misleading. When looking into the cubby, the back wall ends 3/4th way down.

The cubbie shelf looks great in our "coat closet" with the cubby bench below. It was easy to build. The only weird thing about it, is that there is a small board that goes on the back and then another small board that hooks into it to help support on the wall. But once those two boards stop, there is still an open section at the bottom that you can see the wall through. I think it would have been nice to have that all covered. We put baskets in top so you can't really see it, but other than that it looks great!

I purchased this shelf in combination with the coordinating bench for my entryway. It is fantastic! We added some additional smaller hooks between the existing hooks to hold keys. It neatly stores our jackets, hats, keys and just about everything else we use daily. I purchased baskets from a local home store to go inside the cubbies so everyone has a place to hide their excess "stuff". This shelf is well made, easy to assemble and install and holds a ton of stuff. Great purchase!

Well, you get what you pay for... after reading reviews I thought I would be getting a good piece for a great price. It came well packed but after opening the package was a little disappointed. The cheap particle board already showed signs of falling apart, but not bad enough where I needed to return it. After a quick and hassle-free assembly, I mounted it to the wall. I must say, it didn't look half bad, but after while, it quickly became an eyesore to my entry way. I think I will be moving it to garage sometime in the near future.

This shelf is just as pictured except for a little trick of the baskets and blanket, they block the fact that the shelf does not have a full piece of wood/veneer behind them, there is a gap of about 4 inches all the way across that you can see the wall behind it. It is a little odd and not what I expected. All things considered, we are satisfied with the shelf for the cost.

Arrived timely, easy to assemble, sturdy and functional. Not real wood but that was no suprise when considering cost.

I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to the name brand shelves and bench sets, like this one, to organize our coats, bags and "things" as we enter the house. This was a great bargain and looks beautiful in our home. The dimensions are exactly as stated online and it arrived on time. While assembly is required, and does take a little time, it was worth it, once we completed it and had it hanging on the wall.

I love it, it's exactly what it looks like on the pic... It was fairly easy to put together myself. The color is a dark espresso as explained, and the hooks stand out nice from the color.. I also ordered the cubbie bench that goes with it and I am very happy with both items. It takes up an empty space I had no idea what to do with entering from the garage door. So I would definately recommend it.

I love this shelving unit it helps me keep everything organized and still look amazing. Was a bit difficult to put on the wall, took two people. But once we put it up it was so sturdy. I love the price as well...good quality for the price!!

I have been looking for something like this for awhile. Easy to put together and attach to the wall (my husband didn't mind at all). Holds our coats, gloves, kids shoes, hats, etc, my purse and everything I wanted off of my table.
