This is a pretty little vanity chair that looks just like the picture. It comes fully assembled. You just take it out of the box and put it in your room. The fabric is an olive color with a silky sheen. The seat swivels, but only 180°. It's very comfortable (at least for as long as it takes me to sit and put my makeup on and do my hair).

The chair arrived damaged beyond repair, despite packagine being very solid with lots of cushioning/styrofoam to protect it. Wood was completely split. Chair was unusable and unfixable. This chair looks cheap, the pictures make it look a bit more upscale than it actually is. Taking that aside, the fabric looked cheap and the frame also looked extremely inexpensive and not particularly stable. Very poor quality for price. You can get much higher quality for less at any home store. Disappointed in purchase. Overstock, however, did promptly refund money although they were not prompt with for return and while they told me to dispose of item after 10 business days if I hadn't heard from was extremely unhappy that O.com had not promptly processed claim and the item was disposed of prior to their first attempt to pick up (and side note, knowing how these things go, I actually held onto box and chair for a solid month prior to disposing). Sorry o....just being honest.

In my search for vanity seating, I kept coming back to this seat. It is the exact style I was looking for but I hesitated in ordering it due to others' comments on the color and fabric. I kept looking but was always drawn back to this chair and I am so happy I was! There is no green in the color, it is a beautiful golden tan, silk fabric. Prior to use I had the fabric waterproofed with 3M fabric protector, since using at the vanity, I wanted protection from not only water but makeup as well. The vanity chair is very elegant in looks. The wood legs are sturdy and appear to be durable. The seating swivels to the left or right, then returns to face forwards when you get up, love that, no scooting the chair , no worries of scratches on the marble flooring. It doesn't swivel in a complete circle so no worries of children turning it into an amusement park ride! It is perfect in all aspects, very elegant and adds just the right touch I was looking for to complete my bathroom. Thanks 'O' for another great product!

The chair came in initially damaged, but Overstock did a fabulous job of reordering and sending the replacement. This was a gift to my elderly mother, and was exactly what she was hoping for.

This is a great, great chair. It is functional, gorgeous, well made and comfortable. It is timeless and elegant. The swivel seat makes it a perfect extra chair in the bedroom. The only caveat I give on this chair is the color is more of a rich green with gold shadings. I am thrilled with this chair. It is gorgeous with my vanity in my bedroom.

I love this chair and it looks great in my M-bath, could have been more golden like it's name it's more of an olive gold color. I especially love how it swivels.

The color is an ugly green and if you have it in your bathroom, the fabric will spot if it gets wet.It is bulky but sturdy.

Much better than expected. I bought this vanity chair knowing that I would need to have it reupholstered as the fabric was not what I need in the bedroom I'm redecorating. When I have it reupholstered, I'm also going to have a skirt put on it and contrasting piping. I am very pleased with the quality of this piece -- and the good price is just a bonus!

I wanted to use this chair as a chair for my vanity in the bathroom. The issue that I ran into is that the slightest amount of water that got onto the fabric stained the chair so that there were dark splotches all over the seat. It's not like I dumped water on it, I sat on it while I was wet or draped a wet towel on it or like there was something in the water... this was inadvertent random bits of water that came into contact with the chair and, upon drying left stains on it. It would be nice somewhere else - bedroom, living room, etc. where it would not ever come into contact with water. I'm just surprised that since it is touted as a "vanity chair," I would expect the fabric to withstand small amounts of water. I can live with the color being off but it is a kind of weird greenish color.

Needed a vanity chair in a neutral tone to fit in a bath with a modern color scheme. This chair with its simple lines fits in nicely. The swivel seat is an added bonus. Arrived timely and packed well.

This was a great find for me. It is the perfect addition to my dressing room! It is the "perfect" vanity chair..

I ordered this chair last week based on the reviews and the picture which showed a beige/golden color. Got it yesterday and had to send it back because it was far larger than I had anticipated. It was pretty heavy and did not move as easily on my tile bathroom floor as I wished. Even if it was more manageable, the color was very unlike the picture, being decidedly more green than golden and simply did not blend with my decor. I paid $*** for the chair and 2.95 shipping and had to pay $** to return it, plus lug this awkward heavy item to the UPS store. I admit I did not thoroughly read the return policy but the cost and inconvenience of returning an item that did not meet my expectations will make me think twice about ordering anything large again!

This is a beautiful chair! True to the photo. Very substantial, elegant and the seat also has the added feature of swivel and return. It arrived quickly and already put together. There is a small spot on the fabric that I have not tried to get out yet but it is not too bad. I almost gave it a four star rating because of the spot but, the chair is really better than I anticipated so I went ahead with five stars. It is definitely worth the price!

Recently, I bought myself a 1940s English walnut waterfall-style vanity. Anyone who is familiar with this genre of antique vanities knows that these have a low profile and require a suitable bench or chair to properly utilize the space. I looked high and low at antique malls, flea markets, and retail stores. I found some antique chairs, but they were too small and uncomfortable for me. I found new vanity stools retail, but these were flimsy and had no style. However, this was one was perfect! I was hesitant to buy a chair online without being able to first try it out. Instead, I sat in similarly-sized chairs in local stores to compare their height and width. Today, this chair arrived and it feels wonderful and looks like a perfect match to my new vanity!! I even returned another chair that I had bought locally to use because I hadn't found anything else. Also, there is a feature on this chair that I didn't see in the description, and that is the swivel mechanism automatically returns the empty chair to a centered position. How sweet is that! I was looking for a vanity chair for my bathroom and saw this one. Decided to buy it as I have had great luck with the quality of the items I have purchased from Overstock in the past. It arrived very quickly. Packaged very well. I must say of all the vanity chairs I have looked at this one is by far the nicest, especially for the price. Nice color and well constructed. The seat is very firm but I kinda like that. I am very pleased, once again, with my Overstock purchase.
