This is a lot of pieces for the money and I like the style of it. I would say it is better quality than the cheap stuff at the stores, but not as good as if we would have paid like $2000 at a department store. There was really very little assembly required ... I was pleasantly surprised. My only complaint is that the chest of drawers arrived without any drawer pulls, so I had to invest another $30 to buy those from a hardware store.
