Our queen elevation bed arrived quickly, was packaged properly for shipping, and easily assembled in minutes. The wood coloring is actually very much like the photos (shown online expects to vary as in the sunlight) and has a rich grain texture w/ deep cherry + acorn coloring. If we had read / measured the accurately listed frame dimensions, we would not have been so surprised by the frame's generous proportions; instead, our mattress/ box-spring leave ample room to pile layers of blankets & neatly tuck into the oversized frame. - It's lovely!

On opening boxes for inspection the color (very dark)was first thing that had me shaking my head but I needed bed for new house opening so went ahead with inspection, which passed ... after setting it up (mostly easy with exception of one stubborn rail slot), putting box spring and mattress on brought another ""shake em head" ... four inches wider and seven inches longer than required for queen size! Width can be handled, length uh uh ... had to get the circular saw out and shorten that hugh gap! Good thing I know power tools! Overall look is acceptable after sanding and restaining to get color lightened. Recommend? I don't think so.

I agree with the other reviewer that the bed is much darker than it appears in the picture. I love the bed in the picture, the color of mine is average at best. Very easy to setup, maybe 5 to 10 minutes. I was expecting to spend 2-3 hours and I was done with setup and had the bed made within 15 minutes of opening the box. The bed is too large though. Its a good 8 inches too long. I will have to figure out a way to accommodate this as I don't want to deal with packing it up and sending it back. I would NOT buy this if I had seen it in person.

We bought the entire bedroom set (queen bed, nightstands, and both dressers) and the living room set (Armior, coffee table, end tables, console tables and shelf) and they are all beautifupeices of furniturel!! one of the endtables was damaged, i contacted overstock and though i havent recieved the replacement table yet, they where more than willing to help us get it. this is a good buy!!

Definitely darker than the photos and every bit as big. The bed I ordered is Queen size, and it was labeled as such, but once I put the mattress on / in, the matress seemed to be miniscule. I measured the mattress and confirmed it to be Queen sized, then checked the inner dimension of the bed frame. The frame is as quoted (outer dimensions quoted) but it leaves too much space all around the mattress to really make a proper fit. A King sized bed wouldn't fit, but the Queen size is swimming. I imagine I'll make due as the bed is likable, solid and it as incredibly easy to set up, but if I knew what I knew no, I would definitely NOT order this bed.
