we thought top and shelf parts were going to be grey, but they were closer to a wood like color, so were a little disappointed. in fact it didn't really match the other distressed wood pieces we have, so we ended up staining it a different color. so we kept it, and it works now, but it just wasn't the color that we had originally thought it would be.Read More
I was excited to find a reclaimed wood looking table for a decent price. The table I received is a nice table but it just isn't what I expected. For starters, the wood is definitely more of a blonde color and not the grey that I was expecting. Then the table itself seemed really small. That I will take the blame for since the measurements are in the description but it just seemed a little dainty. Overall it is a solid table and it has grown on me. Just wish the wood was as described and it had a little more "heft" to it. I plan on keeping it only because it's easier than returning it and it's price tag.Read More
We ordered these table to match our ****** desk. There is NO WAY these tables are grey. Wish I would have seen the other reviews. These are more of a honey/orange color and the metal is more silver than dark grey. These will be going back. Very disappointed.Read More
This is not grey, it's a orange/yellow color at best, reminds me more of a golden oak shade... not what we wanted at all. I tried white washing it myself, but it's still just yellow underneath. just put up for sale since i can't return.Read More
I ordered a pair of the tables which arrived with scratches on the metal stands and the color of the wood was not grey or nearly as dark as the wood appeared in the photo. Actually the wood is blonde and very similar to the wood floor in the picture. The product was difficult to assemble (not because it was a complex process) because the parts did not fit together well and some of the screws threads were stripped trying to pull the parts together. There is definitely something that was out of dimension with both tables. I chose to return the tables.Read More
1. Very nice table for the price. 2. Easy assembly. 3. I was pleased that the legs are more of a gunmetal color (they appeared brown to me in the pictures). 4. I would like the table more if: (a) the leg plates that attach to the bottom of the top shelf were not visible; this would give the piece a cleaner look. (b) the wood was thicker; looks slightly on the cheap side with the thin cuts of wood. 5. The table has an unusual smell, like bacon...I wouldn't recommend this table if you're a vegetarian. :) My guess is that the wood was treated with some sort of chemical. Hopefully, it will go away with time.Read More
As mentioned by other reviewers, the table is very sturdy and solid. The wood is heavy. They were a little on the small side so I am glad that I got them for end tables in the bedroom bc my furniture in my living room is way too massive and would not have worked with the tables. I think the tables are good and would recommend. If you have smaller more modern furniture, these would be great in the living room. They do look nice and I love the grey wood.Read More
I was very satisfied with this table. It was easy to assemble, though one of the rubber feet was missing. The table allows you to have the look of reclaimed wood without paying the high price. I found the color to be a bit more greenish than how it looks in the photos.Read More
We purchased this end table as well as the Cross-design Elements sofa table and coffee table. We couldn't be happier with the set. We wanted something that would withstand our toddler and not be worried about it being played with. The price was so good, we took a chance and were pleasantly suprised. They look great and the "distressed" look is just enough. I did take Old English for dark wood to darken the lines and distressed areas on the wood (it was white in color).Read More
I like the table, but the problem is I ordered another style "elements" end table because I thought it would be cool to have them different in shape and the finish is NOT the same as the first one I ordered. THIS side table has a satin/semi gloss like finish on it and is not weathered or reclaimed looking like the first table I ordered at all. :( Dissapointed... going to get my husband to sand the finish off so it looks like the first one I ordered! Other than that it is well made and fast shipping like always with overstock!! :)Read More

Even more basic than the style of end table is its shape, so consider how it will fit into your room. End tables can be square, rectangular, round or oval. Some end tables even nest together. One shape of end table might look best next to a recliner, while another might be perfect next to a sectional sofa. Look carefully at the room in which you will be placing the end tables. Best Sunroom Furnishing Ideas
Sunrooms are often some of the most popular areas of any home. Large windows and garden views make sunrooms feel like outdoor retreats while still providing the cover and warmth of indoor rooms. Because sunrooms are connected more to the outdoors than any other room in your home, pick design elements and furniture that work with that theme. Below, you'll find some of the best sunroom furnishing ideas. Seating: One of the most important parts of a sunroom is the seating arrangement. Since you'll likely want to spend many warm nights and bright days in your sunroom, you'll need adequate seating. Sunrooms typically feature either wood furniture or wrought iron seating. When deciding what's right for you, consider the overall look of the room as well as the intended comfort level. Wooden furniture with thick cushions is warmer and more comfortable than metal. A wicker sectional sofa with comfortable cushions will work well with the design of a sunroom. Alternatively, wrought iron benches and chairs give a modern look and feel to a room. Mismatched plush armchairs are a great way to bring both comfort and casual elegance to a sunroom. Tables: When picking out tables for your sunroom, consider how you're going to use the area. Choose a low table that can act as a coffee table for guests to set down their drinks. Tables with glass inserts match sunrooms well because of surrounding glass windows. Sunrooms are a popular place to go during parties and family get-togethers, so consider adding a small dining table and chairs to the room for meals. Design elements: Although sunrooms are indoors, they tie in the nature and wonder of the outdoors. Choose design elements that bring both sun and nature into the room. Wicker planters can hold plants of your choice. Place planters on side tables and on the floor next to entrances to give an inviting impression as guests enter the room. Artwork can change a bland sunroom into something charming and interesting. Look for paintings and sculptures that incorporate colors and themes from the surrounding decor. How to Arrange End Tables
You can use end tables in so many more places than just the two ends of your sofa. Look around your home and see where you could use a decorative accent piece, a little bit of storage, or just a place to set something down. Then you can shop for the end tables that will fill all of those needs.
How to Organize Clutter on a Dining Room Table
All too often, kitchen and dining room tables become a catchall for things, often because of a lack of organization and storage options. When children come home from school, the jackets and backpacks land on the kitchen table as kids head to the refrigerator. After doing several loads of laundry, clean clothes can end up on the dining room table. Mail, bills, books, phone chargers and accessories seem to migrate to this location over time. Cleaning off the dining room table can give your family back a space to come together and socialize without the presence of a TV.
Tips on Choosing a Sofa Table
Do you need to add function to your living room? Sofa tables can be placed between the sofa and the wall, where they provide a surface for lamps, books, or other objects. They also allow air flow from a radiator or heater vent that may be behind the sofa. This isn't the only way you can use these versatile living room tables. To pick the best sofa table for your space, follow these tips.
How to Accessorize an Ottoman
Ottomans serve multiple purposes in home decor. Some people use them as footstools, pairing them with armchairs, loveseats or couches. Others invest in storage ottomans with removable tops or trays beneath. In some homes, ottomans may serve as coffee tables, cocktail tables or end tables. Accessorize your ottoman to increase its functionality as well as its style. Below, you'll learn how to accessorize an ottoman.
Necessary Living Room Furniture - Sofas
Take a good look at your living room furniture. Sofas and loveseats are a staple when it comes to the way your living room looks. Pair your sofa with a loveseat or ottoman, and your living room is well on its way to looking its best. Although most people own living room furniture like ottomans and end tables, few realize what an impact their sofa can have on a living room.
