  • A little too wide for couch table

super easy to put together, simple and worth the price. A little wider that I thought as per measurements though.

  • Love this little work horse!

I put this thing to the test! I use it for my desk and I work with clients and it is piled up with stuff. It is not solid wood but this is worth every penny. When the current one does go, I will likely purchase another. Great for rustic/modern.

  • Adequate spare table

Purchased this narrow table for a back porch and have a lantern and plants on it. The top is a faux wood look and I will probably paint black as it is too light for my taste. The legs have adjustable risers which helps on uneven surfaces. I purchased because of the X detail, which elevates the table enough to make it presentable. Would be best used where it's not seen that much, such as behind a couch. Will also work well as buffet table outside for me as it is easy to move. For the price, a good investment, but spend more and get something that looks better if you're looking for something that will be on prominent display in your home.

  • Good for the money

We aren't using this for the indented purpose we purchased it for. It was too tall to be behind the sofa and too wide for a hall table, so it's not in my office being used as an overflow table. The top is solid, and the legs seem sturdy, but the cross bars in the middle of it remind me of college-grade ikea stuff. It's a decent table for the money, as I really like the reclaimed wood-looking top.

  • Great table

There is nothing about this table to suggest the low price. It is beautiful, sturdy, and so easy to put together. I was concerned about the weathered finish looking too faux, but it's perfect.

  • Ok, but not what I want

The table looks really pretty online but what I didn't realize is that the top is NOT real wood. The description says "Finish: Weathered grey oak" it is not!! I think perhaps the manufacturer has changed the top because in the photo if you zoom in you can see the end of the table is wood on a cross cut but in real like it has that plastic pretend wood strip, also nobody else has said anything about this is their reviews. This is the first item I have gotten from OS that I am going to have to send back. Not worth the money! I didn't put it together since the top is a deal breaker for me so I can't say anything about the base.

Questions & Answers

  • are there two stains for the top table part, in the pictures it shows a darker wood and a lighter wood but when I go to add to the cart there is not an option to choose.

    • Due to the nature of the reclaimed-look finish, some variations in color are to be expected.

  • what is the weight capacity of the table?

  • Is the top wood or plastic?

  • is it possible to sit at the table as a desk or does the center cross bar make it impossible? i sit for 1-3 hours at a time 1-2 times/week. so it does not have to be perfect, just doable.

    • Hello amyjean, the cross bar may get in the way. Just when crossing your legs I would think. The bar could come in handy though. I sit at my desk for 8 hours a day and I am always propping my feet up on things trying to get comfortable. I don't think it would be to bothersome. I think it would be worth it. This desk is really nice. Love the style! Have a great day!

    • I am using this as a desk too. The crossbars do get in the way slightly, but it's not too bad if you sit at an angle. Also, the crossbars don't have to be installed. They are separate. It's more stable with them, but they are not necessary.

  • I accidentally spilled acetone on the table and it stripped the color off the table. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

    • Hello dstars27, I refinish furniture as a hobby. I would just sand the top and then re-stain it. Have a great day!

  • Is this table 18 inches deep or 20 inches deep? Both measurements are in the description. Thanks you!

    • Thank you for your question kaej. The Elements Cross-design Grey Sofa Table is 20 inches deep. We apologize for the confusion. Have a great day.

  • When will it be back in stock?

    • Hello 1queenlinda. Items are restocked as they become available; however we cannot guarantee an Item will be restocked. Thank you for shopping with us.

  • What is the assembled weight of the table?

    • Thank you for you interest in the Elements Cross-design Grey Sofa Table. We are not able to find the weight of the table by itself because we do not have the ability of getting a hold of one and weighing it after assembly. We appologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Have a great day.

  • I was curious as to whether or not this table would function without the 'x' support (or 'cross design') at the bottom. Thoughts?

    • Probably, however we like the "X"

    • Thank you for contacting us,yes you can mount this without the X. Please let me know if you have any further question.

    • I just put together two of these today and I don't think the x's are necessary for support but they do help. If you are just placing some lamps and picture frames on it it probably won't make a difference.

    • Probably, but you will have metal tabs with holes on the side braces that cannot be removed without sawing through the metal

    • I believe that it would make the table weak in it's support.
