My husband and I get compliments on this towel rack all the time. It looks so much more chic (and takes up far less room) than even the most expensive free-standing metal towel racks. The piece arrived with one thin scratch about two inches long along one side, but it was easily touched up by a cherry stain marker. The color is a very dark cherry -- not as close to black as most things labeled "espresso."

I love this towel ladder! It adds a great deal of character to my living room. The cushioned padding on the legs are greatly appreciated. They prevent any scratching to the floor. I have only one concern. The padded end boards slant in the wrong direction! I've had my handy man and boyfriend check out my assembly and both said I did it correctly. The design is flawed. I would still buy it again.

This ladder is the perfect match for the Dark Cherry Ronbow vanity and medicine cabinet we purchased. It went together very easily and holds the two regular bath towels and two hand towels nicely. Bath sheets would probably not fit. Only negative is that I wish there were rubber bumpers on the wall side as well as on the feet.

i wish i wouldve looked at the details before buying this, its nowhere near what i thought and definately not steardy, very small i would rather buy a towel cabinet dont waste your money!!

I could have built something very similar to this with scrap lumber. It is very small and lightweight. Finish is not great. Bought it to hang small table cloths and runners on in my pantry area. Does not hold much. The only reason I did not return it was expense and hassle. If I were to have seen this at a store, I would not have purchased it unless it was on sale for **** bucks.

This item looks exactly as it is pictured, but it came very poorly packaged resulting in dents and chips to the wood. There are also these strange ridges on the sides of the bars (look closely) I am not sure why they are there. It is probably not worth the price, but looks nice from far away.

The assembly of the piece is a little weird. The ends have little eves for hanging things off of so don't assemble at those points, and things will be easier.

Looks good, but not really useful for bath towels. At most only 2 towels, but with alot of overlap. Product came with absolutely no instructions or hardware. Would have returned, but decided it not worth the hassle. I had some leftover hardware from some other furniture so was able to assemble. Will use it for swimsuits instead. If using for small towels or 1 bath towel and smaller hand towels, it would work, but would not recommend.

The quality is good and it looks nice. From a functionality standpoint the rungs could have been a bit wider to accommodate bath towels more easily. Assembly instructions were useless so hope you are handy. Overall, happy with the purchase.

There were some slivers along the edges of a couple of pieces that were easily removed, but that was after being pricked as I took product out of box. After pulling off those slivers of wood I used a marking pen to touch up the bare spots. Assembly was relatively simple. The ladder is so light that I have to hold it with one hand while removing or returning towels. It is the wrong style for my semi-retro looking bathroom. I think it would look much better in a bathroom with country motif.

I purchased to hang towels/magazines on in my guest bathroom. I should have paid more attention to dimensions on this product. It isn't as tall as I think it should be for this application, but that isn't Overstock's problem...that was me not researching thoroughly. Nice color of wood, easy to put together.
