The experience was okay but not great; Overstock was cooperative in sending me a new top. However, I could not have gotten this together without paying a handyman to change the hinges, the magnet, and plane down the shelf. All in all, not so good.

The doors were both or th eleft hand side; I had to have one door refitted completely by a handyman. Change the hanges and the magnet,. The bottom shelf was too wide and the doors would not close perfectly; had to plane it down. Looks fine now.

This is a nice, roomy, economical cabinet for my office. It's color matches like the picture online.

I really like this piece of furniture. It is attractive, guests have complimented it. The color is what I expected, the wood was smooth and in good condition. It was easy to put together. It held together while I moved it to where I wanted it in my kitchen. No issues.

This is a very nice piece of furniture. I put it in the living room to hold photo albums. The doors add dimension with the webbing on the front of them. Because of the side spindles that hold the top on, the cabinet feels "airy". The color is definitely not a blah brown as pictured...it's a deep maroon/black. Very pretty but not what I expected. Also, the pic on the site makes it look like the sides stick out a bit, but they don't. The front sides have a smooth cut out that makes it an optical illusion. All in all, I'm happy with the piece. The price was okay, it was fairly easy to put together (be sure to put the second out-in-the-open shelf magnet holes facing the front...duhhh, oops...lol), but the color is off. I like it!

1st and foremost: DON'T purchase this for anywhere brightly lit/sunny etc.. CONS: The finish is inconsistent and there are gouges in the wood that have been stained over so the color is darker in those areas. The round decorative posts on the upper sides are spray stained and that is done very sloppily and there is almost NO stain on some of the lower 1/4" of those posts (of course facing outward) Some of the pieces (yes, some that show) have dinged corners so you need to have touch up markers to cover the nicked off stain. If you think this is going to be bumped with a vacuum cleaner this is not a good idea either as the wood is VERY soft. The top of the left door needs to be sanded down and recolored due to it's not fitting properly where the hinges appear to be attached a bit high. There is actually a piece that has cotton fragments (from a handlers glove? they were aware??) stuck in a split edge which has great splinter potential while putting this together. The bottom of the upper shelf (which will be hidden) has SOMETHING spilled on it and dried which looks awful but again that will never be seen. (I do picture framing on the side so I have the means to correct/clean up the dings and dents, do you?) PROS: $$$ with free shipping. Easy to put together. If you have a power drill you can get through the actual construction in 20-30 mins if you have an eye for this kind of thing and once you have cleaned up the corners,dings and scratches. Placed properly and if you are careful not to hit/bang it with anything it should be a decent piece, just don't plan on it's being a focal point again due to the inconstancy's in the stain.

The finish is not as nice as I would have preferred. It was easy to assemble. It was missing the machine screws for attaching the nobs, but we are going to replace the nobs with metal knobs, so it was of no real consequence. Good value for a small narrow cabinet--exactly what I was looking for.

The item was shipped in appropriate packaging and was received on the date which was expected. The cabinet was fairly easy to put together, however some of the connections are not tight.

This cabinet is a beautiful piece of furniture and looks great in my bathroom. It took a while for me to tighten the first cam screw. After the first one- I zoomed through the assembly. The down side is that is that I have a small nick on the top of the cabinet which happened when the piece fell out of the poorly made box.

The floor cabinet is beautiful. I bought it to go next to my front door. My son puts his shoes on the bottom shelf & I use the top shelf for my purse. It took a little time to put together but it is worth it. I have had many compliments. I have never been disapointed from any of my Overstock purchases.

Easy to assemble with one screw driver. Two holes were not drilled through completely. The wood is very soft and the screws did not hold very well. I had to glue the dowls in place to provide some added structure.

This type of cabinet is difficult to find, so I guess the value is ok. I was a bit disappointed that the finish doesn't look "deep," more painted on than stained, then coated. I had some difficulty with the assembly; needing some "muscle" to match screws w/ predrilled holes. There was one area where the color was missing, but it was not where it will be too noticeable.

I purchased one to fit a space and then purchased a second one. Assembly is tedious, but directions are very good. I'd recommend it to a friend.

Purchased cabinet to place next to our front door for an area to place mail as well as keep our gloves, scarves and hats. This cabinet is not only real wood but also a beautiful deep color. I put it together myself in 20 minutes as it has very easy to follow directions. The doors hide our baskets of winter accessories perfectly and the open shelf centralizes our mail keeping it neat. Great value, great quality.

This line is perfect for my remodeled bathroom - I also have the towel stand and smaller cabinet, and after assembling this one the others were a breeze.

I ordered a medicine cabinet and this bathroom dresser which both came on the sane day. There were many pieces of screws and parts. The instructions were not very detailed and hard to understand. Finally once I got to the final parts, it was missing four screws which were essential in finishing the project but I was able to find the missing screws at a local hardware store the next day. This was a bummer because you want to finish the project from start to end. Now that it is done, it looks great in the bathroom and I love it.
