I recently received this product as a gift. My mother bought from Overstock and was really excited to give this to my husband. We had the original machine for about 3 months before it conked out. We took the unit for repair, which took 6 weeks and a lot of phone calls. We got it back, plugged it in and it worked for 30 seconds. We called and were sent a replacement and that lasted for 20 minutes and then conked out. What a terrible disappointment from a lifelong Electrolux customer.

I decided to switch to a canister after many many years using an upright. I did tons of research and finally settled on the Electrolux Oxygen 3. The next big hurdle was findng the right price. I chose Overstock and a refurbished model because it was 1/2 the price and I could send it back if I had any problems. I received the vaccum literally within a day. Out of the box the vacuum appeared brand new. All attachments, instructions etc were in the box as they should be. The vacuum itself is wonderful. I can't believe how much it picks up. Suction is fantastic. Light and easy to pull along or to pick up and carry. My carpets have never looked better. This vacuum also transitions really well to my tile floors and picks up dirt and dog hair like nobodys business. I couldnt be happier. Thank you Overstock for such a great price!

My wife vacuums daily and the Electrolux Oxygen3 is the most powerful and quietest unit we ever owned. Our dog & cat don't even mind the vacuum running any more. Unit was received in perfect condition,clean and bright.... Thanks so much for your attention to customer satisfaction....

Good vacuum, easy to use with some nice features and controls. My only problem was with the dust brush that wore out quickly and is very expensive to replace. Over all very happy with the unit and use it regularly.

I love it.. purchased about a year ago... regular use, and suction is amazing! as long as you keep the bag cleaned out, of course... Very happy with this purchase. The price was much less than a 'new' one, and is fine for my home purposes.

I have owned a lot of high end vacuums over the years, but this is absolutely the best. And being "refurbished" make it just like new.

I purchased this cleaner brand new a little over a year ago. For the first few months it worked fine. I even thought it would be a long lasting one. Just 14 months after paying $$$ for it, it stopped working. I had to bring it to an authorized dealer to make sure I could get it fixed under warranty.That authorization took a month of waiting. I finally got it back after I had purchased a different brand of cleaner from a Dept store because you can't be without a vacuum cleaner for over a month!! I have now had it back from repair for about 3 weeks. They whole arm with the controls had to be replaced. Also one of the adjustments on the head had broken. I vaccum a couple of times a week. Now today, when I started vacuuming my carpets, the motor sounds like it is going to stop. It's making a weird noise! I'm not going to bother to get it fixed because it will just be something else that breaks! My first repair cost almost $$$. Thanks goodness Overstock credited me with $$$ of that so I didn't lose too much money. Do not buy this machine!! It will drive you insane!!

The Electrolux brand has gone done the hill from what it was twenty years ago. I bought one of these refurished vacuums from Overstock.com last year. What a Big dissapointment! Though it had a 2 year warranty on it, my vacuum spent 2 months in the shop from almost day one. I have a feeling, that Electrolux takes back these vacuums and doesn't even fix them. I appears they just rebox them up and dump them on the the next customer. The circuit boards on these models are really cheap. The vacuum wand is bad now, and goes off and on when trying to vacuum the floor. The power buttom stops working after a few minutes of being turned on as well. The only way I can turn off the vacuum, is to unplug it. I've had the circuit boards change out twice, and still they go bad. Can you say "MADE IN CHINA"? Don't waste your money on this product even if it is half the price of what a new one costs.

I like the machine. It's quiet with good pick up. I only wish it would not have had major scratches on top. That really bothers me.

the color of ours was orange. it is very very suckie. it sucks. that is good for a vacuum. very light weight, very quiet. My wife loves it, therefore i love it!!!!!!!! No problems that we know of yet.

I love this vacuum cleaner. It is easy to manuver, cleans great. I have a cat and it does amazing on cat hair.

I purchased this vacuum a few weeks ago and so far I am quite pleased with what I got for the money. This unit replaced a budget Kenmore upright since our new place has mostly hardwood, tile and a few throw rugs. The upright just wasn't cutting it on hard surfaces and dusting with the attachments was futile. The new-to-me Electrolux has performed like a champ right out of the box. It was obviously a little used, there were some small cosmetic issues but everything functions perfectly. The unit has plenty of power to do the hard surfaces and the powerhead has no problem with any of our rugs. After the first use I nearly filled the included dust bag going over the entire first floor of our house. We have a cat and a dog so there is never a shortage of hair to pick up. I think I might also invest in the mini powerhead for upholstery and stairs. The included attachment did very well but there was still plenty of pet hair on the couch. The included powerhead was just a bit too big to work easily on carpeted stairs. Pros: Plenty of suction, Fairly light, Useful attachments on the handle, Long power cord. Cons: Main suction hose is a little short, Power button on the handle is easy to hit by accident, Attachments stored on the handle fall off easily. Summary: It's a refurbished unit but at less than half the retail of a new unit you really can't beat what you're getting for the price.

This item came out of the box as promised. It was lightly used. The bag compartment was difficult to close, but after a little work I was able to get it closed and working. This vacuum has good sucking power and responds to the task at hand automatically. One drawback is that there is no organizer caddy either on-board or as a seperate unit.

Good machine, works well, cord is 3 ft. shorter than my old Kenmore though. Longer cord & I give 5 stars.

i have been waiting for years to get my new electrolux. everyone kept telling me to get a dyson. now they all think i did the right thing with my choice. it's everything i had hoped it would be. even my husband is doing more vacuuming. thank you overstock.com for the great customer service and a wonderful product.

I have owned many Electrolux canister vacuums over the past 29 years. My husband bought me a new one for my birthday and I felt guilty about him spending over $500 for a vacuum when they are so much cheaper today than years ago. So I foolishly thought I would like the cheaper refurbished ones on overstock.com. I was so disappointed. The first one had a multitude of problems and I was not even able to plug it up and try it. The second one quit after cleaning only half my house. What a let down! Now I'm not sure i should even try another Electrolux.

May be refurbished but looks like new. Had it for a couple of weeks so far. It cut out unexpectedly a few times the first night we received it but it has been fine since. The only bad side that we have noticed so far is the the bags are really small so we have to change the bag quite frequently. Lots of power and very quiet for a vacuum. So far so good.

This thing really Sucks! Only problem is that if you do not pick up the room first, kiss the shoe laces good bye.

This vacuum exceeded my expectations. It is lightweight, powerful and has lots of great attachments. Shipping was also quick and the price was great.
