The spouse convinced me to get a dyson canister vacuum. It was horrible, cheap plastic, didn't move well and even worse barely sucked up the dirt. Then I got the Electrolux for 200 dollars less than the dyson. This is amazing, solid built, easy to move, the head even moves on it's own. cleans carpets so well! It is very loud but that's the only drawback.
