Love this skillet. It is all stainless steel, none of that toxic non-stick coating stuff! Cooks well and cleans up nicely especially when using an SOS pad or other scrub pad.

This skillet is great, Price was right. Size and depth of skillet offer great versitility - soups, potatoes, steaks etc. The stainless steel provides an easy cleanup even with burns and seering. Love this thing..

I would have given this skillet 5 stars but it has been kind of difficult to get the right cooking temperature. It heats hotter than we are use to.It's still a very nice skillet & I'm happy to finally have a stainless steel one :-)

I would certainly recommend this electric skillet. I have used this type (electric) skillet for many years. I had some concern with it being stainless-steele, but no worry it cleanes up like a dream. Cooks evenly, couldn't be more pleased. Oh! a big plus it is beautiful, I keep it out on the kitchen cabinet.

Package Contents and Unboxing: The hotdog roller and glass cover come in two different boxes. The hotdog roller looks exactly as in the picture. The glass cover is different. In the picture on the website it has a glass front and stainless steel sides. What was shipped has the glass front, but the sides are glass instead of stainless steel, and there is a strip of stainless across the top.. Which is fine with me, but it is different than the picture for whatever reason. Also the glass cover comes with three pieces, front glass, and two sides glasses. Along with four plastic clips, several screws, and a strip of right-angle stainless that goes along the length of the top. Again, that's fine. But what caused some frustration is that there are no instructions whatsoever on how to put the glass cover together, also no picture of what it was suppose to look like once assembled. I searched around on the internet, and found a picture of the completed glass cover assembly, so I figured it out. But at least a one page instruction sheet with a finished picture would have been a big help, rather than just a box full of pieces with no instructions. But again, all's well that end's well, once I figured out how to put it together. You have to put the three pieces of glass into the four plastic clips, hold the stainless strip across the top, then screw in the screws between the plastic clip, then screw into the roller itself. You kind of almost need three hands to do this, or the help of another person to hold it all together while you screw in the screws. Kind of hard to do alone, but doable. Quality of the unit: The power cord is a standard computer power cord. Which is nice because it can be completely unplugged and removed from the unit for storage. Also nice because if you where to lose the cord or damage it, you could just replace it with a standard computer power cable. The unit is completely wrapped in Stainless Steel. The stainless steel seems very generous and fairly heavy gauge. The rollers are also a fairly heavy gauge stainless. So it seems like this will hold up well under long term use, washing, and high heat. Drip tray is a heavy gauge stainless steel that is folded up along all four corners and has a nice lip for a handled to slide out and remove to clean. The drip tray is nice and thick. I was expecting a thin and flimsy drip tray, but the tray is nice, thick, and heavy grade stainless that should last a long time. Glass is fairly thick. Once assembled, the glass cover seems like it will take a good hit and not break. The two temperature knobs are nice and heavy gauge, and feel like good quality when turning dials. The power switch feels nice and good quality when clicking on and off, and lights red when turned on. Operation and Functionality. The unit gets really, really, hot fast when you turn the dial to maximum. It cooks hotdogs literally in about two minutes on maximum. You can also turn it to low and slow cook over about a half hour. Or all the way down to keep warm. There are also two banks of heaters with the two separates controls, so you can quick cook on one set of rollers and move them over to keep warm on another. The two independent knobs allow for unlimited possibilities from anywhere between keep warm, to slow cook, to super fast cooking, or anything in-between. Once unplugged, the unit cools down pretty quick for quick breakdown and storage. Cleanup. The unit is easy to clean, just remove and wash the drip tray, and wipe down the rollers, glass cover, and sides with a damp sponge. Overall. Nicely made product. All visible metal is heavy gauge stainless steel. Fairly thick glass. Nice knobs and switch. Gets hot fast. Cooks hotdogs super fast, slow, or keep warm, or anywhere in-between. Easy clean up. This unit was purchased for personal use, but seems high grade enough for even party rental use or convenience store use. It looks like you could probably run this roller all day long, day after day, and it would hold up well. Highly recommended.

Best electric pan I've EVER bought. Keeps temp. perfect, no fluctuation like most. A little hard to keep clean.

product is more suited as a warmer; grill component is flimsy; good size for entertaining.

Metal is easily dented. Other than that, it's worth the money.

The buffet server and grill was noticed and it received good reviews. The food was kept warm . The capacity of the serving dishes were adequate. And the grill is an added bonus.

We like this little roller grill. It works well.. the heat settings adjust appropriately. It is just a bit squeaky, but that isn't a real problem. Overall, a good little roller grill for the money.

I have a cheaper electric skillet with hot spots and it is really annoying to use. The AROMA SKILLET is so nice to cook in, no hot spots, easy to care for and is really pleasing to look at. I put in on the table as a serving dish. Excellent Skillet!

So far, I have used this to grill chicken and make paninis on multiple occasions. The nonstick surface is flawless and easy to keep clean when the instructions on preheating are followed, and it heats and maintains heat very quickly and very well. Very even heating. The temperature knob seems to be pretty useless (and feels a bit cheap - it's like turning a baby's toy or a noisemaker) as does the built-in thermostat. Other than that, the stainless exterior is decently made, and the grill plates will hold up to daily use with no problem. Grease drains readily, and nothing has stuck to the grill plates yet, even cheese.

Used first time to fry potatoes and the potatoes stuck. Was hard to clean without getting the probe wet. Maybe I had my oil too hot, but will try again.

We bought this skillet because our Farberware finally gave out. We wanted a similar product, preferably made in the U.S.A. This product was the only one listed that was made here. It also seemed to fill most of our requirements. it was pricey, but we figured that since it was made here, that was worth the higher price. Unfortunately it was not made here. It was made in China. Overstock needs to stop doing this. I had heard from someone else that this happened, but I thought that they had stopped falsely listing the country of origin.

We love this machine! We have eaten more hotdogs in the last 2 weeks than we have in a year. Super easy to heat up, cook, and eat! We look forward to summer parties in the yard! My buddy said it looks like he has walked into a 7-11.

I am looking forward to my additional uses of this item. We have large groups of company on various occasions and always struggled with keeping food warm. And, always struggled with keeping those eggs warm for a large breakfast group. No longer a problem!

I ordered this buffet server for use at my annual Christmas party. I chose this model because it a) has the versatility of use as a three-pan buffet server or as a griddle/warming plate and b) has individual heat controls for each of the three pans. And WOW! Does this product deliver! The center (cooking) section heated refrigerator-cold gumbo to boiling in about 15 minutes (which I then turned down to a nice "keep warm" temp for the rest of the evening). The side (warming) sections heated frozen rice and ice-cold crawfish etouffee to the proper temp in about 25 minutes without burning or scorching the food. When the etoufee ran out, I was able simply to turn off that section while keeping the rice and gumbo warm for another couple of hours. The item looks great, feels sturdy, and has nice bonus features like small slots in the lids for the spoon/ladle. The lids are plastic rather than glass, but frankly, for a big party where people will be lifting the lids and going in/out, in/out of the food all evening, that's probably a better option. I admit I haven't used the griddle/warming plate yet, but based on how well this thing worked as a server, I have no doubt it will perform that job just as well. I look forward to many years of use for this gem!
