Received the sheet set and washed before putting them on bed as per the instructions - washed them in cold water and dried on low heat. Sheets were a beautiful rich wine red, very soft, and fit without a struggle. Warmth and luxurious comfort were my reward for this purchase and I will definitely buy more in the future. I went to some upscale stores and found no similar wealth of choice nor were their prices competitive; this is something you reward yourself with so you can enjoy life in grand style. As time and circumstances allow, I will definitely order more.

This was my first purchase with overstock and was pleased with the entire process. I had purchased some sheets from a dept store recently and had to return them as they were awful!!! So, I decided to check out the quality on overstock and found these sheets. They are so comfortable and soft. They wash up well and so far seem easy to care for. I would definately purchase these sheets again.

I have purchased a lot of Egyptian Cotton sheets from Overstock and have been so pleased. These are not great. I got sheets before I was not really excited about. Made in China as were these. Next time I order Egyptian Cotton I will have to ask if MADE IN CHINA and I will not buy. But I love Overstock.

These are the best sheets I have ever owned. These are my first above 250 tc and I can't even go back to the other sheets. These are soft, comfy and keep my warm and cool. I usually sleep with my feet outside of my sheet and comforter, but with these, I can keep them inside without getting too hot. Recommended

We purchased these in the gold color, which is quite vibrant, perhaps just a little more than I would like. However, I don't mind because I like the sheets so much. They feel thick (for sheets, anyway) and smooth, not scratchy, and the pleated top edge is an elegant finish. I did not wash them in cold water as the label suggests. I think all towels and sheets should be washed on a hot cycle and dried on hot to sanitize them, so I compromised and washed them in warm water and dried them on high. They came out fine (I also used fabric softener) and did not shrink. They still fit our high mattress and foam pillow top.

The Egyptian cotton 800 thread count is great, extremly soft. We like them much better then the 1000 thread count that we have been useing. It must be the Egyptian cotton that make them so soft. If you like something soft next to you while you sleep you have got to try these sheets. Only problem is that they are a little wrinkled when they come out of the drier, however not that bad concidering they are 100% cotton.

These sheets should, at 800 thread count, feel awesome. However, I have washed them twice and they are getting a little better but still have a kind of scratchy feeling to them. The color is beautiful and the edge on the sheets is very nice and detailed, but - they definintely need ironing and some of the fabric kind of turns when washed. It does come out when ironed a lot but seems like the fabric at the top might have been cut on the wrong bias. I hope that a few more washings will bring them to the feel of what an 800 thread count should be. Growing up, I am sure I never had anything more than 180- 200 thread count and I do not ever remember having sheets that feel as scratchy as these. I was so hoping they would feel as nice as my current sheets - and now I can't remember where I got the previous ones.

I spent a good amount of time trying to find the best sheets of the high quality for a reasonable price. After coming up short over and over, I took a chance based on other peoples reviews of these sheets. The 1000TC were too heavy and oddly not as soft. These are perfect! The picture (i have sage sheets) does not give these sheets justice either- they are elegant and soft, but bright at the same time. I recommend these sheets to all of my girlfriends, and have even got my mid twenties guy friends to buy new sheets!!

This is a third set of 800 count sheets, it's replacing a Sateen set of lighter weight that we didn't like. We have found these very comfortable,the weight took a minute to get used to,but now look forward to sliding into bed every night. Sometimes sleep with the sheet as the only cover. Excellant value....

These are the SOFTEST sheets ever! I have ordered higher thread count but the 800 thread count don't wrinkle as much and stay soft. My sister just bought a new summer home and needed sheets for 5 bedrooms; I told her these were a must and she got them and LOVES them too. ALL her guests have commented on how soft and comfortable they are. They are also a GREAT value. The department stores are over twice the price.
