This duvet is a great value! Soft, luxurious looking, color is a golden taupe. Great basic duvet.

I bought the Midnight blue. I was a bit dispapointed at first because the colour thats on the website it not in contrast to what i receieved. In the end i just accepted it and made myself to like it. The comfort is ok, alothought there is better. Not too sure if its a 650 thread count cause as it came in a un documented package. No paper to say what i bought and the material....

I bought this set for my son, it was the least expensive that I could find in black which was the color he wanted. The fabric is heavier than expected but will be nice as we head into cooler Seattle weather and will probably last longer than a thinner fabric. I am happy with the purchase overall and the price is good for the quality, the size fits over the down comforter just right too.

I bought gold, and it has a lovely sheen that suits my room. The fabric is heavy (to be expected with 650TC), so it weighs down my comforter more than I expected, but it looks lavish. It is cotton, so it was very wrinkled when I first put it on the bed, but after a few days it's not terribly wrinkled. If I had ironed it, I suspect it would still be this wrinkled after several days of folding it back and moving it around on a king sized bed. If you want pristine wrinkle free, I think you need to go with polyester, which in my opinion doesn't feel as nice.

I purchased the duvet and matching sheet set. The fabric is extremely comfortable, but not practical particularly if you have pets. The material does wrinkle quite a bit after being washed/dried, but 2 minutes with an iron fixed that. My problem is that even though I keep my cat's nails very short, they have already snagged three holes in this duvet in less than a week! My previous duvet was not this fragile, and maybe accumulated 3 holes in 4 years. Also pet hair is attracted to the fabric like a magnet. My previous duvet I only had to wash every month or so, but this I will have to wash every week with my sheets -- it is absolutely plastered with cat hair! However the color is gorgeous (I purchased the burgundy), and the sheets are extremely soft and comfortable. I just didn't expect this set to require so much maintenance. I purchase bedding to sleep on, not to constantly wash, iron, and repair.

Ordered a queen size to fit over my oversized queen feather blanket. At first I ordered the color BEIGE, which arrived with a striped design (subtle in the package, but looks very shiny on the bed). The striped pattern makes it more fancy than I would have liked for my bedroom. Next I ordered the same duvet cover and size in the color linen (turns out this color is a closer match to my other bedding). The LINEN duvet color is solid, with no stripes and therefore is much more plain and appropriate for my particular bedroom decor. Both color covers fit well over my comforter, button easily, and wash well (just take them out of the dryer as soon as it stops and fold them to decrease the wrinkling). I think they are of great quality for the price, definitely warm and low maintenance, but do not be surprised if yours arrives with shiny stripes!

I bought this set for my teenage son and, as recommended, I washed it before he used it. Well it washed fine but it dried horrible. When I took the duvet out of the dryer, the entire duvet was wrinkled and it looks terrible. It is not worth the money. The material is terrible.Dissapointed in NY!

When I received the duvet cover I found a spot of glue with paper stuck to it under the packaging. It was hidden from view until I took the product paper off. I couldn't peel it off, but decided to try the duvet on the comforter and then wash it. The cover was too big for my queen size comforter and the 650 count was very heavy. That is my fault, and in the future will purchase less thread count. The material was rich, but so heavy that it added too much weight to the comforter. I plan to return it and purchase another that is lighter.

I ordered thisduvet not really knowing what to expect...stripes or no stripes. What I got was a soft beautiful duvet with no stripes. The color is perfect, I orderd ivory. It feels like a 650 count duvet. I would imagine that when I wash it it will wrinkle after all it is cotton not polyester! I am very happy with this purchase.

I have a queen bed and with this king size duvet its perfect! Its like laying on a cloud. So soft

I haven't opened this package to feel the quality of the material as I was shocked, and honestly annoyed, that the duvet arrived with a very visible striped pattern. I am giving it one star b/c it is not what I ordered and now I have to go through the return process.
