These sheets ae amazing . They are wonderfully priced( i've seen these same sheets at other websites for $300!) and are high quality. They are a little hard at first, but after 3 to 4 washes they soften up. I ordered taupe, which is a beautifully rich and deep color. They are very Thick and Heavy, which is very nice. Don't be fooded by other reviews, these sheets are a great buy.
I read the reviews before ordering. Overall, they appeared to be 4 stars on average. My wife and I are accustomed to sleeping on very high end sheets. Have so for many years. Upon receipt of the sheets, we noticed how thick they were, as well as being extremely stiff. Upon washing per garment instructions, they can out of the dryer twice as hard and stiff as they were before washing. We did not attempt to sleep on them. We have never seen sheets this hard. Felt like corrugated board material.On the upside, Overstock gave no problem with accepting the return.
If you like really stiff sheets that won't cling to your body like a wet towel, these are the sheets for you. These sheets are so stiff that they act like a pup tent on your bed. The air circulates all around you while you sleep. They have just the right amount of weight to replace a blanket, but won't make you hot like a blaket. The downside of all that stiffness is that you can wash or dry only one sheet at a time. When they come out of the dryer, they look wrinkled because they are too stiff to tumble in the dryer. If I could do it again, I would buy a sheet with a lower thead count - maybe 1200.
These sheets are amazing. Luxurious to the touch, great fitting and an high-quality look to them. I was a little skeptical that there would be a significant difference in feel for 1500 thread count; but I am a true believer now. I absolutely love them!
Bought these sheets about a month or 2 ago and have already washed them a ton of times as high TC sheets get BETTER with age and the more you was them the softer they get... OR atleast that has been my experience..... This is the highest TC sheets I have ever owned. I have a set of 1200, and 1000 also . I think the 1200 (both sets bought on overstock) are my favorites. For the money I paid for the 1500, IF the do NOT get beter and softer over time I will be dissappointed and only by the same 1200's I have that I LOVE again. The 1200's are 3-4 years old, so perhaps that has a lot to do with it as these new 1500's are only a few months...............I am hoping for he best!!!! I will write another review as more time goes on. Keep in mind I am only 30 years old and out of all my friends and family I am known as the "snob" as I have the POSHEST sheets out of everyone! If that makes me a snob..........then so be it!
