Not impressed with this product...overpriced and not as fine as expected given the 1200 thread count,,buyer beware

Wasn't exactly what I thought I was getting. I thought they would be the same as the sheets I had purchased previously... so soft right out of the box. They weren't, however, after washing them a few times I can tell that they will eventually get there. It's a heavy sheet and can almost be used as a light blanket, but that isn't discomforting to me and it just goes to show that the quality of the fabric is that good. No pilling or stray fabric ends after washing, another testimate to the quality of fabric. The only thing holding me back from the 5 star rating is that they aren't soft yet and that the pillow cases aren't offered in sizes other than standard. Since I have Queen sized pillows it would have been nice to have the option when making my purchase to get pillow cases that fit my pillows.

These sheets are beautifully made however they are heavy and do wrinkle even thou I take them out right away after partially drying. They are beautiful when Ironed. I have washed mine twice since I got them and they are stil quite rough but I know from other 1200 ones that they get softer with each washing. These sheets will last almost forever but don't wash in hot water or they will shrink.

Wonderful sheets! Purchased Ivory 1st, then sage. These sheets are great but do need a "breaking in time" as is the case with most high TC bedding. Because they are thick heavy sheets you really need to wash them probably a dozen cycles to start feeling just how soft they become. I have similar quality white sheets, also Egyptian cotton, they have been washed multiple times the past yr & now are sooooo!!!! soft. What you're paying for is the density of weaving, that's what "thread count" means, to those not accustomed to this they may seem heavy & even a little scratchy at 1st. Once broken in, you'll love them & sleep so well you'll never go back and they will last for many yrs, they are an investment. RE: wrinkling issue, 1st they are cotton, 2nd launder as recommended, 3rd dry top & bottom sheets separately with a tennis ball in the dryer (old trick) that keeps them from "balling up", 4th fold & stack nicely; this should smooth out most of the wrinkles. I alternate my linens, touch up top sheet/ pillow cases with iron & my bed always looks & feels WONDERFUL!!! Overstock is great, prices can't be beat & customer service is fab. Invest in these linens, you'll be glad you did (WHAT'S MORE IMPORTANT THAN OUR SLEEP?)

I am satisfied with the quality and workmanship actually its EXCELLENT These sheets may please some people but not me as they are very heavy and stiff not soft and cosy Even after washing in cold water as instructed they are stiff and heavy.Actually we have stopped using them

THESE SHEETS ARE PERFECT. NICE AND HEAVY, WHILE ALSO BEING SOFT. FIT MY CALIFORNIA KING SIZE BED PERFECT.

These Sheets were AMAZING the first year and a half that I owned them.I recieved them as a gift.LOVED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Now they are falling apart. It started slowly, and now with each washing more material is worn away (mind you my high TC sheets only get washed in Le Blanc fine linen wash).I am now very dissappointed in these sheets.I have another set of 1500c sheets from overstock which I got in January and I am hopeing that these last much longer than the 1200tc's did.I own a set of 1000 tc's, a set of 1200's (these are the one's im speaking of in this review) and a pair of 1500 tc's which are my newest ones.I am still in the process of breaking in 1000's and the 1500's. I hope these last and wear much better than these 1200's.

These feel wonderful. These are the highest TC sheets I've purchased and was a little nervous about reviews saying the real high TC sheets feel 'rough'. These absolutely do not. Washed them once before using as I've heard people reccomend and they just feel great - very luxurious. I'm never going to be happy with the lower TC sheets now.

This is my first set of sheets at 1200TC. They are great, and don't feel like they would tear easily. I'm using them on a miracle foam mattress and they are great.

I bought these sheets over a year ago (almost 2 years ago) and, although I washed them often (they are the only sheets I had for my bed), they are still in great shape. The fabric is very thick and durable. Not much shrinkage has occured during the year and, the sheets still fit my very thick mattress.

we had gone to Hawaii and stayed in a condo that had these incredible sheets when we got home we were on a mission to have that same comfort at home we found them at overstock great color, fit and softness I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a geat value and a great nights sleep

These sheets are beautiful. They are heavy and wash great. Every night feels like a night in a luxury hotel. Good value!

The sheets arrived just a few days after placing the order. After washing them and putting them through 2 dryer cycles (they are very heavy and tend to roll into a ball in the dryer) we put them on the bed. Our initial reaction was that they were a bit scratchy and made a lot of noise. After just one night though they relaxed and are the nicest sheets we have ever had. The more they are washed and used the more we appreciate them. They are not too hot or cold, body temperature remains comfortable for the entire night.

I am a total convert! These sheets are fabulous. The are very heavy, but they are SO plush and smooth that they don't feel like a canvas. I am purchasing them for all of the "couples" in the family for their birthdays this year!

The sheets were everything I had hoped for......really good quality and VERY warm! They are very comfortable, as well. And they even sound great! When you get into bed, they have that satifying "cotton crunch" when folding back the bed covers!

I've never had better sheets. Really smooth and soft, but heavy duty. Reminds me of the "crisp" sheets dried on the clothes line when I was a kid on the farm. I plan on getting more for the family for their comfort and good sleep.

I have to order my sheets online b/c I cannot find cal/king size in my area. Overstock has always been the best place to purchase. Great sheets, super price for the quality and thread count, fits my thick mattress very well. Takes a few washings for the true softness to come out, but well worth it!!! Would def buy these again. Thanks overstock...
