They are nice and thick.
I have purchased many heavyweight sheet sets on Overstock. I wanted another lighter set to go with a solid 1000tc set I have. The solid 1000tc set is ultra soft and comfortable. This stripped set is quite rough and scratchy, especially the pillow case. These sheets definately do not have the feel of Egyptian Cotton.
The reason I choose these sheets with such a high thread count was to obtain a soft sheet. These are not soft at all. Perhaps it is the stripe going through them that causes this.
Let me start by saying the Ivory color has an ugly peach/pink tone to it!These sheets are horrible, someone below described them as cardboard and I bought them regardless because I thought at 1000 thread count egyptian cotton, surely that person was crazy. THEY WERE RIGHT! UGH these sheets are so stiff and crunchy, its unbearable to lay on them.I have already washed them twice and it is not helping. I regret this purchase and so will you, DONT BUY!
very nice looking. they fit around the corner of the mattress with plenty to spare, and they don't shrink after each wash. they definitely need to be washed a couple of times before using if you're hoping for smooth and soft. i bought these sheets for a queen bed, the moved and bought a king bed; i ordered the same sheets again X2.
