This is a great duvet, however, if you want it to look as great as the picture, you have to iron it, and Im just not the type of person to iron a kind sized duvet cover.The fabric is soft, very durable, and high quality.

Beautiful, durable, but not as soft as what I would like. This is probably because I'm comparing it to a well worn duvet cover that has been washed 100 times. I wonder if another few turns in the machines will soften this one.

I purchased the burgundy. The color is very rich and the fabric is a nice, heavy weight. I did definitely have to iron after washing unlike some other reviewers who reported 'dryer to bed'. I agree the sheen of the fabric is exceptional (after ironing in this case). The problem is this burgundy fabric seems to have an extraordinary affinity for lint which is really problematic. In order to keep it looking nice I have to go over it thoroughly with a lint brush and roller about once a week. I also have to avoid laying things casually on the bed such as sweaters, coats, or towels. I think this may be a characteristic limited to to this particular color, as it is a very rich deep dye and nobody else has mentioned it. But I have never had an issue quite like this with any bedcover and I would not have purchased it if I had known. I love the quality and weight of the fabric otherwise, but I recommend avoiding the burgundy.

Washed and dried with minimum wrinkles. Color is what I expected. It is soft yet sturdy. Looks great on the bed.

After purchasing another duvet cover from Overstock last month which I am very pleased with, I decided to get one for our room. I expected the 1000 thread count to be soft, which it is not at all. I even washed it several times to try and soften the fabric. It shows every wrinkle and feels so rough. We used it for a week and even my husband complained about it. I ended up taking it off the bed and purshasing another one.

Quality of the fabrix is excellent. It is thick and smooth cover. Since it is for my master bedroom, I wanted a nice duvet to keep my down comforter clean. I have dogs and they are so rough on white down. You will be totally pleased with the product. Colors can be slightly not true to internet. So the more neutral you are the better. I choose Taupe but might should have gone with the blue for contrast or just natural/ivory color. My room is butternut squash color. But the duvet is high quality for the money.

I read all the reviews before placing an order for this item. When it arrived, I was so happy with the quality. It's pretty thick, so sort of heavy. It does not feel as soft as I expected it to be, but nevertheless, it is of good quality. I purchased this cover for my goose down comforter that kept shedding goose feathers all over my room; this cover is thick enough to keep the fine feathers locked in (although some still fly around), and I am really pleased with the results. :)

Great quality. Only complaint is that I ordered the burgundy which appears red. I was expecting a darker color.

This duvet cover has a great quality feel and look. I just put it on the bed, and am completely satisfied with the look. It is generous in size and the fabric is heavy and durable. It has a nice soft sheen.

best if taken out of dryer immediately when buzzer sounds-or needs a light pressing worth it softens every wash

Received this in Ivory. It looks SO luxurious on my bed. I have a King Size, double pillow top mattress with a mattress topper on top...and this duvet cover completely covers it all. Nice sixe, hangs beuatifully. Excellent quality!

We purchased this set to cover an oversized down quilt which we also purchased on Overstock. It has a nice heavier weight, as well as being soft and silky. Washed and dried before using...and it has the same tendency to wrinkle that I have experienced on other cotton sheets. We really enjoyed sleeping our first night with these sheets and are pleased with our purchase.

I bought this to go on my "famous maker" down comforter that I previously purchased at Overstock.com. It's an excellent match for both quality and size (I have the king). Looks gorgeous on my bed. If I decide to change out the bedspread in my guest room for a comforter, I'll definitely be considering getting another one of these to go with it.

Heavy,soft and rich color duvet cover. Washes beautiful. I like the size. Fits our oversized down comforter. I ordered the matching bedding, also. Look forward to getting into bed every night, surrounded by this beautiful material.

We wanted a simple duvet cover for our master, but didn't want to skimp on quality. This fits the bill perfectly! This is a very heavy duty duvet cover...I can't even shake it out by myself it is so heavy. We live in Colorado so winter nights can be very cold. I think this will keep us cozy and warm although it will be far too heavy for year round use. It isn't super soft, but I do expect it to soften with age. The color (ivory) is lovely and warm. One thing is that it is difficult to wash in my home machine. I can do it, but I have to kind of squish it in there. It also gets wrinkled easily, but that doesn't really bother me. I think this was a very good value for the money!

I covered a down comforter with the duvet and was so impressed with the feel of the fabric. My husband, who helped put the duvet on, was also amazed at the feel and look of the fabric. It was very easy to put over the comforter. I love the color, it looks very rich and luxurious. I have decided when I change my bedroom colors I'm going to use the color of the duvet in the plan.
