Winecooler

I love that it holds more wine.. The light switch and temp gauge are on the inside so you have to open it up to turn on the light and remove a bottle first. I bought a smaller wine cooler from OS awhile back and it is much better with the temp and light outside. I had to buy a small temp gauge to put on the inside because this one only has a knob that you turn to make it cooler or warmer and no way of knowing that the temp is. It works really well and looks nice.. Just has some cheap features. I would not recommend this product. Pay alittle more and get one that tell you the temp from the outside of the unit.

Good value

This is an excellent buy. The cooler is quiet and keeps the bottles at an even temp. If you buy $500 bottles of wine, this may not be the one for you, but for the everyday person who enjoys wine, this is perfect. It also looks good in a traditional setting, unobtrusive and compact enough but with plenty of room.

Very Nice

I was very pleased regarding the packaging. The unit was double boxed to ensure no damage during shipment. It was easy to set up and start running. It was also nice that the handle was not installed, it gives you three options – no handle, handle on left side or handle on the right side. We elected to go no handle. Living in the Henderson – Las Vegas area our ambient temperature within our living quarters during the summer is kept at 78 to 80 degrees. However, the unit is maintaining a constant temperature of 56 degrees. Bottom line, we are very pleased with this unit, it is so nice and quiet!

Edge Star Platinum 28 Bottle

This was my second wine refrigerator it does not make allot of noise but when you put it up to my higher end refirigerator I wish I would of waited and gone for same. It keeps the wine at correct temperature but I'm comparing apples to oranges my mistake. For the price great buy

Love it!

My husband asked for a wine fridge for Christmas to store his prized collection of signed bottles. After some research, he determined the Edgestar was the one he wanted. It stores 28 bottles, which is the max we could find for a wine fridge. I looked for this specific make/model on a bunch of different sites, and Overstock had the BEST price by far. Another site wanted $200 MORE for the same fridge. It's working great, looks amazing and was super easy to assemble... pretty much just had to take the plastic off and plug it in. I would certainly recommend this product.

How did the color on site compare with the actual product? It looks great! When it's plugged in there's a really neat blue light that glows from inside the fridge. Super swanky looking.

Please tell us about the quality of the product. Great quality, super quiet, very nice looking, easy to assemble

Doesnt chill wine

I was expecting the fridge would chill wine, specifically white wine. It doesnt have an internal themostat, but if we put the bottle outside on the porch its colder. I would assume it keeps it about 60-65 degrees, which I like mine colder. If it wasnt so big and expensive to ship back we would have returned it. So really its a 28 display rack for bottles of wines.

How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color, size and how much it can hold is perfect and is accurately represented

Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of the workmanship seems fine, everything came in perfect order, except does not chill wine.

Fits perfectly in old trash compactor nook,remodel

We have been mildly happy with our purchse. The only reason we bought it, is because it fits perfectly in the nook where we removed our trash compactor (we are in an old California rancher/remodel) and the dimensiosn were perfect. However, it doesn't look super high quality because of the fake metallic look. Also, the seal on our door never quite seems to stay in place. I constantly have to pull the plastic seal back up into its place. Other than that, it is great for wine. We havent had any other problems. And, at night the light inside gives it a nice touch when the other lights are out.

Awful wine cooler.

Extremely poorly packaged. Item has no ability to cool wine below 68degrees. The door seal is poorly made and can't seal adequately. It's a cheap plastic product. extremely disappointed.
