not sure what is eco-fiendly about this. maybe because the color is green, but it smelled like vinyl which is exactly what i didnt want. i have purchased other eco friendly pads from overstock in the past and they were great but they were out of stiock , so I tried this one. The smell did fade after a few weeks - or i am just used to it. it does work from a non-slip perspective.
