I was very excited when I saw you had the bamboo mattress pad that had just been mentioned on TV with "Going Green" episodes.
I was disappointed in the fit around the sides of our mattress. The cover does not cover the complete sides. The top smooth but almost feels like a water repellent mattress pad.

It's doing a fine job of sitting there between my sheets and my mattress. Slightly rustly-er than my old one, but can't complain. Also, it seems to actually be made from cornstalks, not bamboo, but I can't think why that would matter.

I really liked the idea of a natural mattress pad. Like all my O purchases, it came very quickly, looked and felt nice. I washed the mattress pad and then tried to actually put it over my queen mattress. No luck. No matter how much I tugged and tried, it wouldn't fit. I got disgusted and threw it away. I don't even have that deep a mattress. I probably should have returned it, but didn't want to go threw the hassle of trying to mail it back.

After first opening the package for this product I thought there had been a mistake because the fabric seemed like it would be "noisy" when you put it on your bed - I was pleasantly surprised when I put it on the mattress as it is very comfortable and seems to soften as you use it - A very nice product overall and it fits the deep mattresses.

This bamboo mattress pad is an excellent buy for someone who has a pillow top mattress. If you are looking for a pad to add softness to your bed this pad is not for you. If you have allergies this is an excellent item, and you don't have to worry about the icky chemical treatments on most allergy products. However I have a queen size pillow top mattress that is very thick and the California king fits it not the queen (keep this in mind.)

I already have bamboo sheets, and absolutely love the fabric. This mattress pad is very well made; however, for the King size, it should be bigger. I had a tough time putting it back on the bed after it was washed. That was the only problem so far.

This bamboo pad was described bamboo, hiwever, it does not have the look or feel of my bamboo sheets.
It does not stretch down to my 12" foam mattress. It does not cover the top of the mattress.
It was laundered according to recommendations. I even tried to stretch while still slightly damp and that was not succesful.
This is my second purchasse for overstock.com

It's comfy and soft without being too soft. It does not move under the sheets like the last cover I bought. The only issue I have with it is that it shrunk up after its washing, and it it's not easy to get it on the mattress without a lot of tugging. I'm afraid I'll rip the stretchy part where it covers the matterss. My husband likes it because it doesn't make him too hot overnight like our last cover.

I would definately reccomend this mattress pad. It is just as described. It arrived quickly, and fit perfectly. The first 2 nights it seemed a little stiff, after that it softened and is very comfortable.

i really liked the mattress pad,except for undreneith i do not like the quilityof choice of the fabric they used.i feel they could have put a more durable fabric on it for all the use and ware and tear it will get.it seemed to pull apart very easy when putting on my bed.i just hope it will hold up in the wash.i know i will have to sew the rip undreneith before i wash the pad.i know eco-friendly could be made better to last it would be a good thing for our enviroment and health too.thanks, natjh

This product came quickly and is in great condition. I just wasn't familiar enough with the item to know what I was getting. I was hoping for something that added a little more comfort. I can't even tell that it is there.

Well made -soft with lots of fill. Better yet it's eco-friendly. Saw this on a building green show and never thought I'd find or be able to afford one. But I did and could. Am very pleased

I bought one of these in twin, full and queen size for each of our beds. Everyone likes them! We're all enthused that they're eco-friendly too. I put them on the beds without washing first, and no one finds them overly stiff (maybe a little crisp, but not unpleasant). But I am sure they will soften up with the first wash. They fit perfectly, and snug, over the 3" memory foam (egg carton style) mattress topper that I bought on Overstock for each bed, too. My husband keeps telling me how comfy the bed is! (I agree). For those of you with sensitive noses I didn't notice any particular smell on these. Also they came on time, and I ordered in December.

The fabric is nice and I like the stretchy part that hugs the mattress, however the top part of the mattress pad that actually covers the mattress is too small. I have a standard size queen mattress and it's short by about 3 inches on all sides. And because it's super-snug, it's hard to get the mattress pad on all by yourself. If they had just made it a little bigger, it would have been really great. I didn't bother returning it because of the hassle of mailing it back.
