I am sensitive to chemical type odors. We had new carpet and padding installed and the smell of the padding almost drove me crazy. I was a bit concerned about how this would smell when it arrived, but when I opened this mattress topper the smell was very minimal. The memory foam expanded quickly and I had it on the bed within a couple hours. As far as sleeping on it goes, Wow what a difference!! My husband and I love it. I used to have hip pain from my old mattress. This topper solved that problem. We sleep more soundly. The support is great. It's very plush, and yet supportive. We love the plushness of it. I sleep on my side, stomach and back, and I am very comfortable in all these positions. The mattress topper does make it a bit warmer, as we have both noticed, but the comfort of the mattress makes it worth it. I'm very glad that I purchased the 4" topper, because I don't think that a thinner one would have given me the plushness that I desired. I wouldn't go any less than the 4" topper. I always buy the deep pocket sheets, so they fit well with the thickness of my mattress and topper. I have purchased a plush mattress cover, which makes this even nicer! So far, I haven't had it long enough to comment on its durability. I would definately buy another one. I'm so glad that I purchased this topper. For us, it's perfect.

I have only had the Eco-friendly memory foam mattress topper a few weeks, but am so pleased with it I sent one to my brother-in-law who suffers from arthritis as a present. Early reports indicate he is sleeping a bit better. I hope it continues to be beneficial. If I have a concern it is only that the topper stands up to use and time. Right now I can/will recommend the product to anyone and everyone.
I bought this pad for my son that just went off to college. I don't know if you've ever experienced older dorm rm beds or not but they are as hard as a rock. My son took the pad out of the box and unrolled it, (it takes a bit to get it flat again) and slept on it that night. He called the next morning to tell me that it was a back/life saver and that it felt great. Since I didn't sleep on the mattress myself, I can't give it a 5 star but it served its purpose and made college just a bit more like home. Overstock has never been a disappointment, always great products, good prices and the best shipping for internet shopping.
We bought this memory foam mattress topper for the sofa bed in our motorhome. It makes the pull-out bed so much more comfortable. I don't mind having family sleep there when we camp. I would recommend it to a friend.
