There has been no stink smell ever since I got it. Very comfortable to lay down. The only con that I can point out is that the foam topper tend to move around a little bit, but it can bring back to align with the bed easily.
I purchased this mattress pad for my daughter. This has proved to be extremely comfortable for her. We have a great mattress similar to this only more expensive and she always said ohhh your bed is so comfortable and my mattress is hard. Now she enjoys lying on her bed and wakes up much more rested. This was a great buy.
We got the memory foam topper to go on top of our full size 'sleep number' bed. We got the lowest level sleep number bed and even though you could adjust the firmness it wasnt comfortable. The memory foam topper was an inexpensive way to make our mattress comfortable! It also raised the height of our bed which was quite low. When we first took the foam topper out of the box we were shocked at how it looked but in a couple hours it opened up, filled out and was ready to use. We really love it. Comfortable but not too soft. Firm with enough give. Very good and the best price you can get for a 3 inch topper!
About a year ago I purchased a new mattress that turned out to be too firm. I was experiencing a large amount of hip and back pain, but I did not make the connection between the pain and my mattress until my chiropractor mentioned the possibility. This mattress pad relieves a great deal of the pain and makes my bed much more comfortable. It does not make me feel overheated, although I have needed fewer bed coverings since I began using this pad. I have owned this pad for only one month, so I do not yet know how well it will withstand normal use.
Overall this topper does what it says it will do.It is comfortable and stays where you put it,It's only drawback is it is hard to move around on it.I purchased it for my husband.He likes the bed soft and I like it firm.I have a bad back and suffer from hot flashes.I was concerned about it,but so far no problems.We've used it about a month now.So if you are interested in one,this is an excellent choice!
