The first few night, it seemed too firm, as if it was even harder than the mattress underneath, but gradually I realized it took time for me to sink into it. At 1.5 inches I think it is just the right amount of sinking. Now I feel as if produces the affect I want. It gives a little softness and then underlying is the mattress that is very firm.

This topper seems a little small at first, but it really is comfortable. If you are as cheap as I am, you would love to come to resolution first. I have gotten a lot more rest because of this topper.

I bought this for our CalKing memory foam mattress. Our new mattress was a little firmer than we like, so put this on top. It really helped. It also plumped up quickly with no smell and fits perfect.
