Well made bar stools
The stools arrived quickly, the boxes were very damaged but the stools were not affected. They were very easy to put together, I put together 4 of them in a matter of minutes by myself. They work as designed, I have no problem with letting them up and down and they have been able to hold people who are heavier in weight with no problem. I got the dark brown colored ones and they look the same in person as they did on the web site and match very well with my other furniture which has legs that are chocolate brown in color. The quality of the stools is very good and they look as though they cost more than what I paid for them, not to mention the design is different from most other stools you might find in a typical furniture store. If you're on the fence, I would recommend giving them a try. I'm very particular about the furniture I have purchased and most of the pieces in my home have been custom ordered and these stools go along great with them.

Ecco Adjustable Swivel Stool
The chair feels unstable when you sit on it. The balance to the base and seat feel unsteady, I feel like it could snap off from the base. The metal around the chair is very flimsy and dents easily.

Great Stools
Although a bit pricey, we bought four to sit along the counter. They were easy to assemble and extremely comfortable.

cool design; not functional at bar height
I would recommend them for counter height, but the bar height they were very wobbly. Also be aware that there is black trim adjacent to the crome trim. I returned them because they weren't stable at bar height and I didn't want the black trim on brown stools.

Great Customer Service
I received these stools and the boxes were badly damaged. There were some scratches on the brushed chrome and the white seats did not go well with the decor. When i contacted Overstock to return their customer service was outstanding. The issue was resolved quickly and as a result i would be happy to purchase from Overstock again. Overstock has made me a very happy consumer. I would recommend them without any reservation.

Mine was damaged
I have been searching for bar stools for about a year now. We moved into a new house and our old counter-height stools were too low for sitting at the counter. I also wanted low/no backs because of the set-up of the kitchen. Higher backs break up the main kitchen from the eating area. I wanted something that would not show when the stools were not in use. This is the second type from Overstock I have tried. I ordered just one to test it out. The one I got was damaged. I could tell right away the base was knocked up. So I called and Overstock was great about the return. I decided I'd better put it together to test out anyway. The metal that the seat was bolted to was bent, so the seat leaned to the left. The seat itself was comfy enough but a little wobbly. The black strip around the chrome on the back of the seat took away from the look of the chrome styling because it covered it somewhat. I decided this was not the stool for me, so we did not have O send us a replacement. As stated, the return was easy and we were not charged. I have no idea if this stool would last since we did not keep it. But I did have let the O girl know that this item had obviously been a return and damaged. In the end, we decided to go with static, backless, leather barstools from another site. They are lovely.

Great Chair!
I ordered 1 chair to make sure I liked it. It was super easy to assemble. The only problem we had was trying to figure out how to adjust the chair back down. It's not a super $$$ chair with great hydrolics but it works. I just ordered a second one.

Great Looking Stools
I am very pleased and have received compliments from everyone who has visited. They are more comfortable than they look, however, I sort of wish the back was a little higher.
