I bought this couch/bed for my boys' room for their reading "corner" and to accomodate sleepover guests. I was so excited when the couch arrived, we inflated it immediately! It was the perfect size and seemed very comfortable. The next day, the couch was really soft and flimsy :( So, I reread the instructions and followed all of the "trouble shooting tips" -- we checked all the release valves and deflated and inflated a few time... thinking, this is going to be perfect! This time, the couch stayed inflated only for few hours and was the problem was worse than the day before. I will have to see if I can find the leak and patch it or something. Seems like more work than it's worth :( I will probably end up having to return it and pay the shipping... bummer!
The pump stays attached for a reason, the air leaks. We haven't used it, put it in our camper, checked the next day, quite a bit of air had leaked. It looks nice, sits comfortable but I was not expecting it to leak so quickly. If you don't mind it going flat every day you may be ok with it. I do not want to use as a bed, just a sofa. I would advise one of the double height air mattress if anyone wants a bed. This one is not very high off the floor.
We have set up our air couch in our den. My friend recently visited from Virginia for a few days, and we folded the couch out only onced, to create a full sized bed. She said it slept great. Infact, she's moving here the end of the year and is purchasing her own couch for her spare room.
This was probably a good idea but doesn't work out so well. The bed when folded out is very thin and not comfortable. It feels as though you are sleeping directly on the floor. When folded into a couch it is narrow for sitting and you feel as though you will pitch forward off the thing. The first one I got had a bad leak. Overstock replaced it immediately and the second does not leak but I am not comfortable putting guests on it. Too expensive for what it is. For $50 I wouldn't complain.
I bought this sofa for the family room. I have a teenage son still living at home and thought this would be an affordable sofa for friends to sit on and then to convert when on occasion someone stays over night. The shopping experience was painless. I was impressed at how quickly it arrived. This sofa was so easy and quick to set up. I did it with no help in about 5 minutes including unpacking it from the box. Everyone loves it. It has a control so you can put more air in or let air out to make the sofa softer or firmer. I also like that it has a back.
The first night kept deflating. Also you can't really sit on it comfortably at all. I got it as an option for my daughter who sleeps in my living room sometimes and she absolutely hated it. I have to agree with my son that it was my worst idea ever. I am currently having a horrible time trying to fold it back up to send back to Overstock. Don't bother. $50 would have been too high of a price.
I bought this item because I am not going to be living in the same place for a long time and wanted a couch I could take with me easily. I was disappointed because, though it works well as a place to sit, do not think about reclining on it as you would a regular couch- you'll fall right off. I find that with inflatable furniture the depth is never enough, and it's especially so in this case. Furthermore, there is an odd piece at the rear back of the couch the purpose of which I don't understand, and which seemed to add to the lying down problem. Honestly, if this piece of furniture were half the price, I think it would still not merit it's price tag.
My college aged daughter moved into her first apartment, and the stairway was really narrow, so furniture options were very limited. We bought an inflatable sofa because it would fit up the stairs in the carrying bag. She has had it as her main piece of living room furniture for a month now, and we are very pleased with it. It is comfortable and rarely needs more air. It is very quickly and easily inflated, and even more quickly deflated. Time will tell if it was worth the price (depends upon how long it lasts), but so far, we are very pleased with it.
this is an extremely amazing product. i took out for my house warming and people loved it. it looks and feels awesome. i wouldnt say this if i truely didnt feel it. i still have this sitting in my room and its been over 2 weeks since the party.. it will lose air overtime but u just have to inflate it and its back to being firm. i absolutely love this product!
I was somewhat reluctant when I bought the Easy Riser Deluxe Sofa and Queen Size Airbed. It was my first time buying an airbed, but, I took the plunge. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Bought for guests originally, I find myself crashing on it regularly. It's that good. Great construction and durabiliity. I would recommend this product again, again and again!
I have now had this sofa for about 3 weeks and it is great. I was skeptical after a few negative reviews, but it has been good. As the manual mentions it will take a few days for the mattress to completely stretch meaning that for a few days you will keep adding more air. After the 3 days I only add air about 1 time a week. I have had several guests over and comment how comfortable it is. At first it would be a bit off balance meaning that it was causing me to lean over. I figured it out. I had to let some air out, reallign the bottom of the couch that is folded under and the inflate to firm. The felt material makes it very durable as well. For $100 this couch is as comfortable as an $800 couch. I previously tried a few low budget couches...less than $500 at local stores and could not believe it. Why spend so much for a couch that is not comfortable after about 20 min. This product by far is great.
I got this item for my husbands office and it sets up easily but it deflates itself but when you need to totally deflate it to roll it into the bag.... it is very difficult. if you sleep on it, half way through the night some part of you will be touching the floor. Also.... a few days after we bought it it developed a whole..... in a room with a carpet, not sure how that happened..... It is not worth the buy, even for the price, i ended up returning it.
