The easy rider was not so easy to assemble. Like many other products from China, some of the inserts did not quite fit or reach where they were supposed to go. My interior designer girlfriend and I resorted to more brawn than brain to finish putting it together. You WILL need the assistance of someone to push things into place and if you have a drill, even better. (Hint: Use gravity and your body weight to make things reach). While the easy rider looks nice, it is not as comfortable. The cushions cave in a bit after extended periods of sitting. So for short periods is fine, but after 2 hours your gluteus maximus will go to sleep. There is also a wooden beam in the middle that is not so comfy to sit on. We suggest pillows. On the plus side, the easy rider is functional, looks nice, and fits my miminalist decor and small space. If you have more space and money, I'd say skip this one. If you have a small space and don't plan to spend tons of time on it (e.g. watching "The Godfather parts I, II, III" in one fell swoop), then invest on this little guy. It will do the trick, and you can probably sell it to a college student looking for furnishings when you are ready to move on. I would have given it 2.5 stars but Overstock's rating system does not take decimals. Hope that was helpful, happy runaway consumerism to you.
The Easy Rider was fairly easy to put together. The only trouble was getting the back part of the seat in the pegs connecting the bottom. It took awhile to get that part pushed down so that there wasn't a space between the seat and the back section. Other than that, the assembly was not bad. The couch is small enough for a teen room. It is soft and durable. Very comfortable. The fabric will be easy to keep clean and nice. Goes perfect in a game room or office. I would recommend this to a friend for sure.
i love this couch. i have been searching for a couch for a few months.... one that was a good price and didn't look cheap. the easy rider looks better in person and has a nice modern feel to it but isn't hard to sit on. it is actually really comfortable. and if you are tall you know it is hard to find comfortable couches, they usually arn't deep enough. this one is and still doesn't feel too big in my tiny apartment. worth every cent.
I bought several of these for my business - 2 out of the first three we opened were missing important parts (legs) and the fabric was torn in shipping on another one due to flimsy boxes. A fourth one arrived soaking wet so that the box fell apart when it came off the truck - yet the sofa and all its parts were in perfect condition, go figure.Once assembled the remaining good ones are an incredible value and a cool look so I'm pleased. Now I have to process returns for all the other ones and I don't think anyone else would put up with all the problems. But I still need 12 more to finish the project!
